To Render in Cartoon Shaded/Lined: 1. Render as a one-frame animation in the Display Style of your choice. Set render output to high settings. SEARCH for previous posts on the subject in this Forum. 2. You can Render any Display Style or multiple combinations of styles (eg. a textured body, wireframe clothes, and cartoon props) from the Sketch Design render feature. Most of the Sketch Design Presets native to Poser4 are not the best examples of what can be done. They are almost all somewhat flawed. Good Sketch Render styles make all the difference. Do a SEARCH for Sketch Render in the FREE STUFF to DL three of the Preset Style samples (of the 88 available at Bbay inclluding 18 comix styles). -Open the SD preview window. Select a Preset and let it render in the Preview. Adjust if necessary. (See my Sketch Design style Tutorial, URL included in Free Stuff DL.) -Close the preview window to go back to the studio. Select Sketch Style Render from the pull-down menu. Image rendering takes much less time in the Studio than it does in the SD preview window. -Export your image. See the attached. Scully: texture shaded body, wireframe leotard, flat shaded guns. Done with Palette Knife style. Not the best to illustrate the above, but one I had already done. Good Luck. 3DonThread: What about Tess? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well, Bless my Tess. I'd like to see morphs for lengthening the skirt or turning the skirt into business style pants. She would be a more useful model. Not all that many biz women wear mini skirts.

Link has been fixed. Sorry. 1. Set your Studio Window as large a possible, like 648 X 864. 2. Under Render options, choose Render in New Window. Set that window size to double your studio size. Check Anti-Alias and Render Over background picture. Set Rez at 288 or higher. Save (but do not render). 3. Import your Background picture. Open the Sketch Render Window. Apply the style you want. Close the SD preview window. 4. Back in the studio, choose Sketch Style Render under render menu. Render. 5. Export Image and open Image in editing software, like Photoshop. Check the image size. You can increase the Print size easily. As I said above, my renders turn out at 288 dpi, and at the same size as my original image. Images will only Sketch Render in the SD preview window and render only from the studio.Thread: background image sketch renders... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Matt- DL my Sketch Render Tutorial at this llink. Import your BG picture. Set Render options by: 1. rendering in a new window, 2. Set the window to twice the size as your studio window, 3. set rez at 288 (4 X the 72 lpi you normally get.). Check other options you want. Render. Export picture. At 2X the size and 4X the lpi, you get an image at same size as studio window at the specified rez. Also at my site galleries you can see images and backgrounds Sketch Rendered at hi rez. http://Cyber-Fyber.bbay.com -3DonThread: Looking for a handgun | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
There's a .45 ACP at DAZ that has moving parts and a .38 Spl Smith & Wesson revolver in Renderosity store. There are 40 shootist poses at Bbay. Best of all... you don't need a permit!
Thread: Gold & Silver Dollars Set - Comments? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
pdblake- They look good. Are the coins 3D or flat? BMPs? Price? How 'bout a dollar for every dollar? If coins are 3d modelled and will catch different lighting angles, they're probably worth more.
Thread: Tiff question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Not quite sure I understand your query. Do you want to make ONE Tiff into multiple pages or several Tiffs? If several, look into Adobe Acrobat Distiller. You can make cross-platform docs, multiple pages, easy to "flip" thru. Many have Acrobat Reader, avaiable free. You may have it and not know it. Look on HD or on CDs with new Applications or Browsers. Tiffs are best for importing into another program, like a page layout program, Quark XPress. JPGs are best for WWW pages that have blending color. GIFs are also for WWW pages where the image is more hard edged, with flat color. I don't use BMPs much.

Looks good. If 3D quality is as good as the DAZ Quarter, I'd buy it. Hopefully it would be cheaper! To see images of DAZ's Quarter in action, go to: http://Cyber-Fyber.bbay.com and visit the Biz Buzz gallery, page 3.

Try Sketch Pack 02 or Sketch Color Pack 03. Most are black & white styles. However, you can bring up the local color value with the Color Blend slider, at bottom. Try increments of 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, etc. Also toggle back and forth between Color Strokes and B&W strokes (an on-off operation). New Sketch Render styles, dialed specifically for comix styles will be available at Bbay in a few weeks. Go to the Biz Buzz galleries at my site to see previews of upcoming comix styles and renders of the ones already at Bbay. Be sure to read the PDF tutorial to enhance usage.Thread: i need civil war uniforms | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Try this: 1. Work in Flat Shaded mode, so no textures show. 2. Under Render Menu, choose Materials. Select the figure and attached props one-by-one and make them all white with black highlight. Save. 3. Adjust your studio lights, 1st is white, 2nd is green, 3rd is black. Position to get the effect you want. Look at other light sets for positions, or recolor one you like. -3Don

ookami- Try a higher opacity and slightly higher High Brightness (sliders) with Background and a little more OBJECT opacity and density with this Render Style. That might make a moreof an old film look... little darker. Try the line length slider if you want to go for graininess. Also try Sketch Rendering over a Background "paper" effect, like Noise Embossed.
