Thread: She even amazed me! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Awesome work. I think that's your best yet, and that's saying quite a bit considering your past work! Kudos!!
Thread: multiple P4 figures In B4? | Forum: Bryce
Isn't it funny the things we have to come up with to make things work? But, hey, if it works, it works, right? Glad I could help. As far as your other question, to scale a Bryce texture, go into the Materials editor. Ok, so you've chosen the texture in the ABCD line at the left of the screen (forgive me, I haven't got it open and I forget the proper names for these things. I try and make it obvious what I'm talking about). Ok, so if your texture or material is in A, click the first button in the top left corner of the A box. The editor comes up. Remember this when you had to turn the Poser textures for P3 180 degrees? Ok, the top set of xyz is for sizing (it looks just like the sizing for objects). Ok, I have no idea if that makes any sense but I hope it does. happy brycing!!!
Thread: GROUPING IN VAIN!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I may be wrong, but I think you can only group on each individual part. I don't think you can combine groups from different parts (i.e. chest and left collar). I believe the idea of the groups is to let you isolate areas of existing parts. I think...? At least that's how I've worked it. It's very clumbsy. I've only found it useful for getting rid of skin that shows through clothing (like the shins on the thigh boots)

Well, nerd, I get the same thing you do. The only solution I've come up with was to put two prop type boxes at the far corners of the scene (x,y & z) and export each singly figure as a different OBJ with those boxes. When I import them in Bryce, because they're at the far corners, the boxes line up. i can then delete the boxes and my pose is intact. It's a drawn out and irritating process but it's all I've gotten to work. If anyone else has a better way, I'm anxious to hear it.

The hair "Wendy" is from Greylight Internet (link on the right here under Web Resources) Nice image. Nice casual look.

Ok, you need to use a water plane with a wave bump. Water with a waterfall would not be glassy. Try the blurring thing daemon sin suggested. Just "dirtying" it up a bit would be good. But for a first, I'd say you definitely had a future. Don't give up. It takes awhile. experiment...Experiment...EXPERIMENT!!
Thread: Announcement: 5 FREE Props for Poser 3 and 4 from WhiteCrow3D | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
By the way, for anyone wondering, I bought one of these CD's and they're great. Lots and lots of stuff.
Thread: Anybody still looking for a poseable cow? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
There's one that comes on the Zygote Animal CD but I'm sure a freebie would be appreciated by many. 'Sides, the Zygote one's mouth doesn't open and the eyes don't close so it's kinda limited. If you're up for a project, go for it
Thread: 8 Free Poser Props for you to download now. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey ziggy, thanks for the info. But when I tried to download them, i got an access forbidden message. This is the "Free Stuff" right?
Thread: 3D or Not 3D? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey, but the best part is that you CAN'T tell it was a 3D render. This could've easily been a touched up photograph. Very nice work and just goes to show what a handy tool Poser really is
Thread: Recent Zygote Specials E-mail | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Ikyoto, don't shoot your manual out the window! I haven't found anything magical. The knees were pretty messed up, belive me. That's what post-production is for. Using Photoshop's smudge is what I always do, carefully rounding out the edges and stuff. Takes some time and care, but well worth it.

Wow, it does look like computer chips, doesn't it? Hmm, hadn't seen that. It's a Bryce preset. How funny! Thanks for the response, guys. I wasn't too sure if I was done with this one yet, but I can't think of anything else to put. Except maybe Adam... But then, with the way I end up doing things, I wouldn't be able to post the finished product here >:D
Thread: OBP to OBJ? Is it possible, and how? | Forum: Bryce
Wee Hoo! A function I didn't know about. hadn't a clue you could export meshes from Bryce other than the terrains and symmetrical lattices. Hmm, makes the Zygote Bryce CD more attractive now. Damn, missed the sale! Thanks for the tip!
