I too am a collector. Budget restrictions can be very healthy in this respect. When I purchased Poser 5 last December I had drained my budget and I decided not to spend one single dime on merchandise before I had: 1 - mastered Poser and 2 - ound out what I wanted with it. Mastering Poser is not done overnight, and cutting and slicing freebies to suit my needs (or at least make them work) proved very educative. Now that I know what I want I have grown very selective on freebies and, behold, I have finally embarked on a few rendering projects.

It looks that Wings3D can do what you want. It's free, it doesn't boast an own renderer (I understand you use Poser for that), and the learning curve is very gentle. B.

Hmm it looks you're right. The head is gone. Maybe it was not in the props section of the site but on the page where (old) Eroko was found. I guess they want to make a version with English names of that face also, and we just need to be patient. B.

there is a blink morph in the extra head in the props section (hondara4.htm) Dials titles are Japanese.

Yup. She's there all right and doing exactly what she's supposed to do. Works fine in P5, no more hang-ups of P5 on deletion. Great work!

I'm curious what you did to fix it. I've been working on the it myself for an hour or two, replacing the all Japanese names with standardized ones, but that did not really help. My Poser5 display still hangs when I delete her from the scene. Kindly send me a copy of the fixed file. B.

Do you P6 users have any troubles using Eroko? I find it doing weird things to my P5, such as locking the document window when I delete the figure, and changing my startup settings. I heard Pro users having trouble also. I tried to load the cr2 into DazStudio. I got an error message: .... Reading EROKO_The_Masochist.cr2 No joint parameter name was specified on line 77503 in C:/Program Files/Curious Labs/Poser 5/EROKO/Runtime/libraries/character/EROKO/EROKO_The_Masochist.cr2 C Exception: Memory Access Violation Failed to import C:/Program Files/Curious Labs/Poser 5/EROKO/Runtime/libraries/character/EROKO/EROKO_The_Masochist.cr2 : 12f24c The memory access violation Eroko causes in DazStudio smells very much like the sort of problems I have with P5, exept that P5 (sadly) does not produce a log file. Are there tools to scrutinize a CR2? Too bad, this. Eroko would be a very attractive addition to that weird bunch living in my runtimes. B.

I tried to play around with little Eroko, and found that Poser (V5) sort of hangs up once I try to delete the figure from the scene. The screen opdate stops functioning. Anyone seen the same? B.

Heyhey gwhicks, you are right!. I assumed these rather arbitrary limits had to do something with the internals of Poser, such as the shadow mapping process. I rendered a similar scene and, again, it works like a breeze. Thanks a lot. B.
