Currently I'm on disability and don't have much to do other than stay home and watch tv. So I've budgeted myself a certain amount of money each month to spend on poser items. I'd love to be able to get more items, but it's just not possible. Are there tutorials out there that teach you how to make clothing textures? Also, where do you get the layout of the items to texturize?

Thread: Bit of a - double standards - rant | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I enjoy looking at all kinds of art, be it male or female content. All art is equally beautiful, no matter what the subject. However, as a personal preference I like to make "pretty" "girly" things... so because of that, I tend to enjoy working with female subjects. I'm still new to Poser and have only worked with V3 and addons for her. I find that there is a larger selection of clothing, addon textures and hair to choose from for V3 vs M3 or D3. Plus, a female character is more versatile to work with: skirts, tops, dresses of all kinds, lacey under things, different hair styles and lengths, various shoe styles, gloves, makeup, jewelery. All of which can be interchanged and mixed and matched. I feel that if you don't have anything nice to say, then you shouldn't say it. So I don't understand those who leave nasty comments in review. I look, appreciate and move on.

Well, after hearing from the artist, I managed to track down the gloves. They were a 3D Universe item but have now been sold to Daz3D and are included in their "V3 and S3 Clothing Pack".

"(look for Beach Baby in their store)" That was the first thing I bought after getting Poser. I like the skin texture, but the face looks funny to me; she looks really cross-eyed :( But as for skin texture in general, it's a very nice one.

That's an old article. David Reimer's brother, Brian, killed himself. David Reimer killed himself within the last year or two.

Maybe a little bit, but it's not a strong resemblance.

I don't see anything wrong or what the big deal is. So the product is for MGYT. Once applied it looks adult. Also, have you seen "young teens" these days? You would be hard pressed to pick them out among many young women. Girls are developing and maturing earlier now than they did even 40 years ago. I see this package no differen than other packages that convert Vicky to male, or Aiko to male. As for that "Mags" photo posted. First, those boobs look totally fake. I've never seen boobs shaped like wall sconces. Second, if you look at images of Asian females, 20 and 30 year olds can be mistaken for teenagers due to their shorter stature and smaller bone structure. I think people are getting bent out of shape for no reason.

"This is an adult figure" Which is what common sense told many of us.

Thread: Warning to gallery members | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I don't have anything in my gallery, so I don't know how notifying artists work. But from what I understand is that news is posted on the site only. Renderosity sends out emails notifying members of items on sale etc. Why not send out news emails indicating rule changes etc. The person can either opt in or out of receiving these emails, and if they opt out and miss out on a significant change like this one being discussed, then they have no one to blame but themselves. It seems that the way news flows on this site is inconsistent from what I've been hearing people say, and not everyone goes to the main page all of the time. I know I don't. I have my book mark set to the forums, and if I want to go anywhere from here, I click the links at the top. Also, a way to avoid inappropriate images would be to have a moderated upload for images. Meaning that any images that are uploaded to the galleries is not posted until it's passed by the moderators/admins of this site, who will either release it or vito it. While that might not be an ideal answer, it would eliminate the "nudity" that some are offended by, and give the mods/admins control over what is posted in the galleries, thereby avoiding having to ban people for misunderstandings or not having been up-to-date on the rule changes.
