Just remembered the install plug-ins window and checked on the transfer. The plug-in shows as being disabled for some reason and clicking on the associated links goes to a missing page error.
Can you tell me how well it works for you?
Thanks Mike
Thread: Is there a way to move a morph? | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
well then, as said above if it's a head/face morph then the dial in the Body group is just a master to dive the morph. If you don;t want it there delete it (just the morph dial in the BODY group), then un hide the morph dial in the head/face, it'll work with out a master dial.

'Answer:
If all you want is to display the morph on the parameters menu in the HEAD portion of the parameters menu it's easy to do so.
Open the Body morphs on the parameter menu (with the + symbol) and do the same on the Head morph list.
Then, using your mouse left button, click on and HOLD the button from the Body list and drag it to the Head list. The NAME of the morph is where you need to GRAB the morph with the mouse.
Don't let go of the left mouse button until you have the morph where you want it. You'll see a line following the mouse movement as you drag it around. We Poser users always seem to make things harder than they have to be'

LeFemme is limited by the content creator who make thingsa for her. Unfortunately most of them end in that direction because it is what sells best, since the sales for LaFemme are a fraction of the sales for even V4 it's pretty easy to see why they tend to go for the biggest sales. if you really want to see increased variation and volume for LaFemme or L'Homme I suggest you hit the market place wish list and make a loud enough voice vendors will see a market.

nope I have to agree with Eldrichcellar The biggest problem to developing NEW characters and content and frankly Poser's utilities themselves is V4. Every version of DS has had new figures built to use new technology some that in some ways make older versions obsolete ( not totally no, but some functions just don;t work) how ever since Poser 11 the program has had to be written around out dated technology or the users with "Tons' and "Tons" of V4 era content scream and hollar, and refuse to let go so the programmers just continue to cater to them. I REALLY hope Bondware will break this cycle and make the Poser engine the best it can be and if it breaks V4 use so be it.

'Maybe an unpopular opinion, but i really hope, they won't go through with La Femme and L'Homme. The latest characters aren't a real improvent. I know they putt in a lot of effort and i really don't want to offend the creators, but those are not my favorites. I will stick with Victoria 4.2 and hope for a revival of some sort.'
One major point as far as V4! The V4 and M4 figures are owned by DAZ not Bondware so it would be impossible to "revive" them IN Poser (or out of it for that matter). They are no MADE for weight mapping (altho some very good efforts have been made to convert them by individuals). And making a Poser figure that mimics their shape and rigging would cause a heck of legal problems. Poser figures HAVE to be NEW. I am not privy to what is planed for Poser 12. Personally I'm hoping for a newer, easier rigging system considering the time that seems to be being spent n it which wuld require replacing LaFemme and L'Homme or at least major modifications, so why not focus on just WHAT you don;t like about them so Bondware can take those suggestions into concideration

Oh yeah, and morphs but IF ZBrush does start supporting animation and we could import the animation files from ZBrush and or Blender it would be rally cool
Thread: Graphics tablets & Modeling | Forum: 3D Modeling
OK to jump in here, I've used a tablet for years for sculpting, painting and drawing. For modeling on Silo and other pixel pushing I use a mouse, but since they added ZModeller I do mus less of that. Recently I've seen that Wacom is offering the "One" which appears to be a relatively low cost entry level to their Cintiq, smaller and with less bells and whistles. I think some people that are not familiar with using a tablet may find this easier to get used to, depending on your budget, I believe it is priced in the $400.00 range, but I'm not positive.

Yep,GoZ is a real time saver. I apologize I should have explained in more detail (where to find GoZ in poser etc.) I didn't realize just how new you are. I conciser myself as a moderate user in both Poser and ZBrush so if you run into anything else post it and I'll try to help.
Thread: Poser and ZBrush | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm unsure of your work path here, you exported from Poser via goz. when you Goz'd back into poser didn;t it ask if you to name a new morph for the mods? If so you should have had no reason to copy in a new skeleton. If you saved a new obj and brought that into Poser, there is your problem ZBrush only exports GROUPS not Mat zones so if you used the Material zones options when sending to GoZ in poser your Materials will be converted to GROUPs not mat zones. I usually use UVMapper pro to fix this but you may need to run the obj back thru your modeller to remap the mat zones
Easier to GoZ it back in as a morph (FBM) and save the obj from Poser and re-install, or just set the morph at Min 1 Max 1 which will 'lock" the morph as active.
Thread: Rigging issue ... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I almost hate to say this because I hate the ragged way it works but find out if he/she checks the autogroup box when transferring the rig in the set-up room. He/she sounds like a beginner and that is a part most neglect not knowing to group the figure to match the rigging
Thread: Which geometry???? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
One point.. if you use the "Original Geometry File" optuion AND your original geometry has the groups weld it will use the welded geometry. Poser splits the grouping only when writing a new geo file. SO this was done to fix 2 issues, the geo location and the welded groups
Thread: Simple question i think? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
There are 2 ways to save and use your morph. The easiest (in my opinion) is to go to File/Export and near the top of the pop up select Morph Injection... This will ask for a name and a location for the injection. Then a selection box will open and you can select the morph or morphs you want to save. Once you click ok (or whatever) it will save 2 files to your location, one is a PMD file the other is a Pose file. The Pose file will used the PMD file to inject the morph(s) into a selected figure in the scene.
The 2nd way is simply to save the figure with your morphs into the Character folder of poser but be sure to use a new name or it can over right you L'Homme figure. When you open your new Poser file you can load the figure with the morphs. The big set back to this for me is that you are crowding you figure file And it will only load the figure with the morphs you save with it. By using injections to save your morphs you can add them any time you open a new figure and if you have several (or more) morphs you can now mix and match, Also in the old days using ht ePMD would save a it of disk space, not as important with the current hard drives but way back when every bit counted. Hope this help! Letterworks PS injection morph made for L'Homme CAN be injected into LaFemme they use basically the same mesh, just rearranged a bit, but I don;t guaranty the results will work exactly the same since the mesh has been re-arranged but it may give some interesting reusults.

Just an odd thought. Have you tried LaFemme's texture (Not the Pro but the basic). They share the UV maps and it may be easier to "man up" the female texture for a young man that to (delete things from the Male textures/.
