Well that makes me feel better!
Actually I completely understand the fact why they wouldn't let a person copyright poses. Seems somewhat silly to me. I wasn't planning on doing so with my package anyhow 
(Although the things are giving me a firm kick in the tush...)

*I don;t really mind a dial spun character. lol- I've hundreds of V3's both spun and (slightly modified).
Remember a few years back. When the makers of Poser itself was asked if pose's could be copyrighted. The answer direct from there very own legal department was "No". Your allowed to sell or give them away. But they are NOT going to give up any legal rights to the inherant operations of there own software. They own the dials and the pz2 files. Dial spining isn't an original creation. So 'poses' are inherant to the software, not the character.
At the risk of sounding daft:
If Curious Labs/eFrontier/Whothehellever owns copyright to the Poser Program (and rightfully so) ergo the dials, lights, 'rooms' and all the other stuff that goes along with it, does this mean that they, in some way, also own copyright to the images that you make WITH that program? Or for that matter, the products you make FOR that program? 
Thank you guys for clarifying this all for me, although now I feel a little ashamed as I was considering upping a few face and body morphs as freebies. And you guessed it, they were made with dial spinning.

Like I said in my reply to PJZ, I just wanted to make sure this is the correct way to do it because I plan on selling the package and I don't want to get pinned with any sort of copyright infringement...That would just ruin my entire day, you see, so I thought I'd get the all clear from the smart folks here first :)
The eyes won't hurt you!...The mouth, on the other hand? I can't make any promises :laugh:
