Hi
I figured it out, the problem was that on my 4k monitor the interface was so small I couldn't see the little arrow that brings up the dropdown list to select the new Runtime it was almost invisable.
Once I enlarged my interface to 125% I could see the arrow which let's you select a different Runtime that gives you a list that shows only that Runtimes entries.
I don't know why it doesn't make the built in runtime the default and let you chose otherwise if you wish.
I still have a lot of work to do, I think I would have not chosen to install all the stuff that tries to sell you stuff if I had known what I was doing I may start over and try to get it back to basics with my own stuff back in.
I may have to make the interface even bigger.
I would have liked to not have uninstalled my old version but it wouldn't continue until I did, even in a new directory.

Thread: Poser 11.2 - Upgrade or not? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi
I have the same questions, for a rollout they are pretty vauge. I don't really know where, when, or what I need to have.
I read the part about changing my serial number etc, but why not handle the change through the normal updater?
I'm not sure what's going on here, I haven't been active on the forums for a while and didn't know that Poser was going to some other company until I got the email.
So, anyway where, and when am I suppose to get this update, I'm at ll.1.1.somethiing that I think is the latest version. I also have Poser Pro 2014.

Thread: Looking for a comparison, Poser 11, Poser 11.1, and Poser 11.1 Pro | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
I've looked at SM Download Manager and I don't have an option to download it, and when I look at the Smith Micro site it says that the update cost $79. Seems to me like it should be free since it's only an update not a new version.
I'll take a look at the PDF, and see if there's any chance that it's worth paying $250 to upgrade from my Poser Pro 2014.
But I think I'll just wait for a new version it I'm going to pay out that kind of cash.
PS. I just noticed that I have version 11.1, so it did upgrade at some point, probably yesterday when I reinstalled it.
So I don't get the $79 figure that I saw, maybe that was from some older version.
Now that I think about it, I did notice some differences when I was messing around in it, one was that there were letters in the animation pallet that weren't there before. Now that I realize it I'll have to get in and poke around.

Thread: Eyes and part of hair prop disappearing when camera pulls back? | Forum: New Poser Users Help
Hi again.
That worked, it was a little bit different in Windows 10 but it appeared that all I needed to do was to delete the Poser folder from my Users folder to get rid of all of the preferences.
So I cut and pasted it to the desktop and then opened Poser 11.
I checked the eyes first and the problem was solved, next I opened the scene that I couldn't edit yesterday and it was editable so both problems solved.
Thanks again for the help!

Hi
I'm using the main camera.
And I think you are right, I realised that when I moved the camera, or the character closer the eyes come out of the front of the head and when I move either farther away the go backwards into the head and disappear.
I constantly have issues with Poser 11, I've reinstalled is a number of times. I like the interface but I have Poser Pro 2014 and it runs fine without any of the issues I have with 11.
Yesterday I completed a scene and rendered it using superfly. It looked OK so I went back to make some changes, only to find that I couldn't move the character in the scene.
Nothing was frozen up, I could select body parts and props but I couldn't move the figure.
I was glad that I always create a backup file as I work. I loaded it and it was the same thing couldn't move anything!
I loaded a new figure into the scene and it moved normally. I have no idea what's going on, how did it affect a file that wasn't even loaded when it happened?.
I switched to Poser Pro 2014 and did it over. Worked fine.
I'm not sure is there a way to reset everything to default setting in one step?

Hi
Pretty funny, what did you use to shoot the frames? Phone, camera, etc?
Liked the jump over the hump, how did you get frames with the potato in the air?

Hi
This was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid, I'll never forget the scene in the abandoned farmhouse where this creature was looking for the main characters hiding inside.
Great job!

Thread: Poser 11, can't find "areaLite.obj"? | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
Hi
I think I finally got it figured out.
I missed the point where you have to type in where you want the content installed and then I had to manually tell it to put the data in that location for each install. It still didn't show up in Libraries as the default location, but I was able to add it as an alternate location and have everything show up.
I don't remember having to do all this when I installed it before, but it's working.

Hi
Poser 11 crashed and gave me a blue screen that forced me to reboot and then reinstall Poser 11 because it wouldn't launch after the crash. Once I did that I found that it showed that my Runtime file was empty.
So I removed and reinstalled again.
When I opened Poser 11, it showed that the Runtime was empty again.
I couldn't get it to see where the Runtime was, so I copied a backup runtime file into the Poser Contents, Runtime location (this is where it thought that the Runtime was). After that it saw the content of my Runtime.
However it doesn't see the location of my Runtime in my C: Users folder, not where I wanted it to put it.
I think I'm going to reinstall again for the 3rd time, but I need to know how to get it to put the Runtime in the Poser Content folder. I've tried selecting both of the options as to where to put the Runtime during the install process.
Which is the correct one, I'm running Poser 11 from a different drive then C:.
I also have Poser Pro 2014 installed and it is working normally and has the Runtime in the Poser Pro 2014 folder.
I've had Poser 11 installed and working since it first came out, and I have the install files downloaded so it's not a big job to reinstall but I want to get it right the next time.
I never had any problems like this before, it always put the Runtime under the Poser 11 directory.
So how do I make sure it puts the Runtime in the Poser 11 Directory not on my C: drive?
I must be missing something when I do the install, my memory isn't what it was when I was younger. LOL

Wow, that's fantastic, as a pilot myself I can really feel the flying part, zooming into clouds and popping out the other side.
Seeing the clouds around you and below feeling like you are flying through an arctic landscape, with mountains on either side.
It really captures that feeling of flying.
