I made the nighttime sky by adjusting the levels from the daytime sky, there are other (better) ways of doing this, but I needed something fast... You can adjust the fade depending on where you start dragging and where you release. Best is to try different starting/ending positions... Good luck

Your logo does look nice, I would even say it looks great. You did very much with very little, wich is kinda like the point in creating a logo... One thing to think about though; You made this in photoshop, right? Photoshop supports working with vectors (paths), but is not ideal for it. Once you use a filter and rasterize the layers you will end up with pixels. Pixels suck for logos... You say you want to use this logo for everything that provides a space for it. Keep in mind that scaling might become a factor sooner or later. You want to be able to put the logo on everything, from a busines card to the side of a truck (should your photography business become a multinational someday...) In that case your psd file would have to be huuuuuuuuuge for the image resolution to match the print size. Therefore it's always best to create the logo with vectors. I use Illustrator for logos, but you could easely recreate your logo with Inkscape (freeware) and not have to wory about the print resolution... Just my 2cents

I think I understand better now what it is you are doing and why you are doing it. Thanks for taking the time to explain things so my troglodyte self gets to understand it... Cheers

I do agree that your 'new' aproach to modeling is interesting. I also agree on the 'mathematics can be fun' statement on your website. But... I must admit I feel kinda weird about this development. Genius programmers around the world have developped software that allows us to model both ways; either freely in a virtual 3D space, dragging points and polygons with our mouse; or mathematical by numerics, adjusting point and poly positions on a numeric basis. Either way, they made sure we could focus on modeling cool stuff without having to worry about the sine, cosine, tangent, cotangent and the other -angents. That's actualy why computers where developped, to take care of those calculations for us... Don't get me wrong, I do think this is a cool idea that may become a new way of modeling in certain areas like medical stuff or nasa projects, where mathematical accuracy is crucial, but as a self proclaimed 'artist' that goes by his intuition, creativity and often cheer old providence while creating stuff, this kind of modeling would kinda take the fun out of it... Anyhow, I sincearely wish you all the best with your project! Mike

Euhm, couldn't you just open the first file you have in Photoshop, press the create new action icon; name it and start recording? Resize it as needed, save as whatever and press stop at the bottom of the actions palette? After that go to automate; batch and just choose to perform the action you just created... That's how I would do it...
