WHAAA!? THE P4!? WOW...great job. BTW for those of you who didn't know...Gillian Anderson used to be BALD just like this! Haha..believe it or not she even sported a Mo-hawk at one point during her Techno punk rocker phase! (hard to imagine after her squeaky clean appearance on X-files). She's way into Techno music and that sort of thing and rumor has it she shaved her head bald a few times (prior to landing the gig on X-files of course). PAN~
Thread: Posable props from figures? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
YOU sir, are da MAN. Did I mention that before? That was PRETTY dang clear. Ok we are GETTING somewhere now. Sadly I am at work without a copy of Poser in front of me..but as soon as the opportunity presents itself (and as soon as that DANG PS2 stops calling with it's Sirens lure I'll get RIGHT on trying this...it seems VERY easy now that you've taken the time to explain slowly!) THANKS! PAN~

EGADS! MY CHALLENGE STILL REMAINS! Can someone please make a tutorial that is easy to follow, easy to read, and gives results?! I'm willing to bet there's alot more people out there than let on who don't know a cr2 from a pz3! I would love to find a tutorial that is WELL written, with images to explain EACH and EVERY step. Can be used to create a figure from ANY other program OTHER than RAY DREAM STUDIO and put into poser! I have a SLEW of PROP ideas I'm so READY to make and yet....this pose-able madness is what prevents them from being made. (AND yes they'd be FREE FREE FREE if I could make them...and they'd be REALLLLLLLY cool trust me.) So anyone out there willing to find such a tutorial!? ;) PAN~ www.federation-21.com www.big-i.com "Your 'i' on the digital art industry!"

Thread: Dual textures via UVMapper? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Heya Bloodsong, :) Heya azl, I think I know what you are referring to. You want to be able to apply different materials to different parts like in Poser? Where you can go into the materials pull down and select for example the tie, and apply a texture to the tie, while later selecting the buttons on the shirt and applying their own texture to them? (just examples). I think you could either a)in UV mapper just make one entire texture for the whole object or b)create your model in 3DStudio Max, export it as an obj., then in Poser using the "what's that tool again folks?" tool with the lil' dot in a box? I think it's the selection tool? All I know it's the last one on the Right (don't have poser in front of me right now)...but anyways when you select that tool you'll get the menu that pops up and allows you to delete unwanted groups in your model while also allowing you to save new material groups and stuff. (check your poser manual for full details, or someone may just explain better than me who HAS poser in front of them right now) Either way when you go into your materials pull down in poser you'll see that the materials you assigned are now selectable and you can apply different textures to them....(ok now I'm confused...I hope this made sense...) Thread: FREE PLAYSTATION2's!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You are very good :) AND quick....PANta could use a lil' helper like you haha.. Maybe we should put these out so people can use the box and your prop together? :) PAN~
Thread: FREE PLAYSTATION2's!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Oh phooey! I guess I won't put mine out then. Gee, it would have been cool too. On mine the disc tray was a poseable prop you could open and close. Sigh....and the slots and inputs were actually modelled not textured on...gee guess you showed me! I better remember when I put something out next time to do it RIGHT! ;P PAN~ www.federation-21.com www.big-i.com "Your 'i' on the digital art industry!"

Note to self: Must make advertisements clearer for customers :) Yes it's going to be a box AND the system model. The system has yet to be textured up so I have not displayed it. Don't want to show it until it's pretty like :) But I'll also be making games for it too ;) Oh and you only get ONE controller people! Do you know how much it costs PAN.WARE to manufacture these puppies!? Why the DVD player alone...sheeessh! ;) PAN~

Thanks gang! Hey, about that Saturn duanemoody, did you have Traction control on or off? I used to own one and I noticed that when I had traction control on and I had to go up an icy hill it was no good...but when you turn it off...they can shoot right up that hill because they are front wheel drive! (traction control basically takes the power away from the tires that are slipping and distributes it to the ones gripping...unfortunately if they are ALL slipping you end up with no power and going sideways down the hill!) :) As for a real one...I've been in talks with PAN.TECH (a division of PAN.WARE) and they claim that once they can get past the Consumer Reports people and the incident in which several people reportedly exploded while on these bikes (apparently some nuclear fallout was reported but what's a little radiation?) they will start mass production of these puppies! :) BTW - Charliebrown? One of the downloads will be various colored texture maps for this bike ;) Now off to Santa's workshop to finish up!!! Ho Ho HooooooooackcoughcoughchokesputterWHEEEEZZEEE...uggg.. PAN~

I was just telling Bill in the other post I was working on something close to that (for my comic). It's coming along nicely so far...at least I think so. I'll see what I can do to get some pictures up of it when I get home :) PAN~ www.federation-21.com www.big-i.com "Your 'i' on the digital art industry!"

Thread: PAN.WARE for XMAS! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi Escapist... My personal website (federation-21.com) doesn't allow me to link stuff out. So being an admin over at the Big-i (big-i.com) allows me to host my stuff on their server so that I can make things available. But since they are doing me the favor of hosting my items I try to be considerate and not link out of their site but instead re-direct some traffic their way. It's a tiny forum just waiting for some visitors (hmm..pasta's getting cold! Wonder where everyone is? ...oh! must put out the blank "hello my name is ___" stickers!) The biggest xmas gift they could get this year would be visitors dropping by to say hello! :) (hint hint hint) Anyways...I'm going to try and put more stuff out as soon as time allows me to. (times WAY too short now-a-days what with purchasing a new home, new job, working on my new business, playing PS2, ...eh...I said that aloud didn't I? ACK!)
