Yea, I did not see a Import Scale option in Blender either (they have a Clamp Scale option, but it does not seem to change anything related to the scale of the OBJ being imported?), so I seemed to be stuck either way, doing it manually. Was just trying to get it automated. It's not that big of a deal, I guess
Thanks for the replies
(whoops double post)

EDIT: hmm...I think I need to adjust my camera settings, now that I posted and look at it

The lashes I had needed a little different (those above gave me white lashes) I posted what I used. The texture is just a Transparency texture, so I think did it right?
I also have the eyesurface turned transparent only, but I may revisit that, since I got no reflection (dead eyes). I also think I need to tweak the tear.
Probably best to just get some good eye material setup and save those materials off, and replace the imported ones in the future. I am going to look into doing that.
I gotta run out for a few, but I will kick-off a render, and post when I come back what it looks like at the present.

Quote - A sticky thread for individual freebie sites sounds like a great idea
I would agree, BUT with the inability to Edit the main post (or any post after a small amount of time), you would be wading through pages and pages of links, some good, some old and dead, with no chance of cleaning it up.
The ability to edit posts is why threads like Kerya's Free Hair list is sooooo awesome. (not to mention Kerya keeping the main post updated, which is great!)
Maybe something to consider for the Forum management?

Yea, most of the scripts are installed in blender and run there. The only one that does not is the one that exports the OBJ, creates the blender import Py, the batch file to lauch blender/import py and gathers the materials
I am trying to get a scaling export script for poser now (it seems to have that option) but it aint working. I posted in the Poser Scripts forum

Nah, we are all just too opinionated, and we all like to talk (probably too much) :tongue1: ...but we all do appreciate it! Great job!

Quote - Of course with enough effort you could make the Default cube in blender look like brad pitt.
LOL!
It's the turned down corners of the mouth that get me, in that default look. Then again, Alyson seemed to have that, as well. Can't argue with "free" though! Woohoo!

Update - @Casual updated to post on how to use that script with Poser, linked here
Have not tried it yet, but will today.

Using the Daz script, mcjTeleBlender, I was able to make this pretty quick! (Daz to Blender)

Thanks for the link @heddheld! That DS plugin is really cool, and per the script, they do not mind someone modifying it, as long as you keep their copyright info in there. I am perusing it over to see if its within my ability to "poser-ize" it. I am a Python hack, at best...
Here's my first Cycles render! (click for bigger)
...and I modeled the glass!
Great tutorial: LINK
Learned more from that Blender tutorial, than all the reading on Blender I've done to date. It just made sense to me.
I actually cut the render short, due to time...it's only about 1/2 baked.

BB's EnvSphere
What are the latest things being "touted"? (it's hard to keep up)
Oh, and postwork backgrounds, so plain images are great!
