realistic blood can be achieved by applying painting techniques inside photoshop. what you did is too quick and simple. try building up the blood, paint on new layers at low opacity (25%). use a combination of dark red, purple and maybe brown. its like cooking, you can always add ingredients but not take away. also, the plastic wrap filter is good at making things look wet. give it some time, you'll know when you like what you see.

this will take you about 2 seconds using the grouping tool. just select the head and eyes, then create new props. then make the original head invisible.

it really depends on the clothing item. 3dwizard has converted some posette clothes to vicky: http://www.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=1219 as far as using tailor to create V2 morphs on converted posette clothes, that might be pushing it.

I see two problems. First, it looks like you havent completely covered the shirt template with the chainmail texture. Also your transmap may not be covering all the areas. Second, you need to set highlights to 1% and highlight color to pure black.

let me guess, it was a 3ds file...or maybe dxf. some files just mysteriously crash poser. it really has nothing to do with memory, just incompatibility

some 3ds and dfx files can't be opened in poser, you will get an error saying that you're out of memory. Im not sure if that is the problem you're having, but its a common one.
