thanks pakled. :) is wings3d for pc? i was thinking it was just for mac users. I want to make a wooden stake. a simple stake one would use to dust vamps, for example. (hehe). but i'd rather it be a bit more detailed than just a broom handle sharpend at one end with a wood texture applied to it. this is just one example of the many things i need to make.

thanks for the info andrew. I will look into those sources. i'm actually looking for a deep red hair texture. i've seen some examples of what i need but none are big enough to actually use. i might be able to apply some filter coloring to one of the textures i already have. as for skin tone, i'm working on my own tattooed/speckled skin. think "aura" from sw: tpm... hair along those lines. course she was only glimpsed once, most ppl proly dont know who she is. heh.

Ah-hah!. heh, i just figured that out. that's the only thing i messed with earlier. was coming here to say i figured it out but you beat me to it :D thanks though.

hehe, cool. did they ever make it easier to unlock the jedi slot? i played for the first few months of its release, and then again a bit later just after they incorporated mounts, but still... i got to a certain level of weapons handling and couldn't really do anything else. the lower level creatures took forever to gain any serious ammount of xp and the higher levels required more than one to take down. it was always virtually impossible to find anyone to hunt with, as by that point everybody had formed their own guilds/parties, so they did their own thing. i really liked my character tho. :)

that's part 2 of what i was thinking, but i dont have swj installed anymore. (due to space and the fact that i was not impressed with the game/story content, but the figures, items, clothing, etc are beautiful) - if there are obj files in swg then they should able to be imported, but their scale would proly be way off. importing into another program like anim8or might work... btw, would that be illegal?

hmm ok. i was just trying to make everything transparent so i could see better like your nose job tutor for dr jeep. (i'll give a quote to where i'm referring to in tutor): [[["Here, I have use the Hierachry Editor to "hide" everything in the studio except Geep's Head, neck & hair. I have also set the Transparency (Max) to about 20% so I can see things better."]]] That's what i was referring to with transparency... :)

Thanks Geep. Appreciate it. I am currently going through your magnets tutorial. But I am stuck on how to set transparency in poser room to 20% LOL - can't find it in the ref manual either
