Ahh! Good point! I never thought of that! That's an interesting idea! The one question would be if the name Jane has anything to do with it, or if it's just random. Aaron

It needs work, and I took a few artistic licenses with her clothing, where she is looking, etc. ;) I think mainly her hands just aren't right. All in all, though, I think it's OK. I'm sure you could come up with a lot better!
Good luck!

I personally can't stand Posette. Doesn't look at all like a real woman to me. But, like Dave said above, "thats just me." For whomever prefers Posette (or really any character) over Vicki, I say to them that whatever makes them happy is just fine with me! ;) Aaron

Those would be my suggestions - I've also been thinking about a project like this, and have come to the same conclusions. It certainly sounds like you've put an awful lot of work into this! When will we be able to see the finished product? Good luck! Aaron

Another argument for purchasing poses, in my opinion, is that they often give me a lot of inspiration. Just the other day I had downloaded this pose set and was going through it when I came across this one that gave me a really great idea for an image. Of course, it required a bit of work as I like to work things like gravity, etc. into my pictures, and I didn't like one or two aspects of the pose, but without it I wouldn't have ever come up with that idea. So, this may not be the case for everyone, but I certainly find those pre-fab poses to be very inspirational if nothing else. I think that, what's more, you cannot argue that people are being lazy by purchasing ready-made poses, and then complain that such poses take you too long to work into whatever shape you want them to be. If you don't like buying poses, fine. If you think people who buy poses are lazy, fine but you should keep your mouth shut. However, you cannot combine those two into a single argument - they are very different. Aaron

Poser doesn't operate properly if you have your Virtual Memory set up to high. To see if this is your problem, go into the System Properties (in Control Panel). Select the 'Advanced' tab, and hit the 'Settings' button under the 'Performance' heading. When you get the new window, selceted the 'Advanced' tab, and the very last frame (at the bottom) will tell you how much Virtual Memory you have. What number does your computer tell you? I think that if it is over 1GB, Poser will no longer function. Hope this helps! Aaron

Actually, VeriSign is just using bad business practices to gain customers. Basically, they got many, many addresses on domain names (regardless of who they were registered with), and sent those addresses little cards saying that users needed to renew their domain names with (of course) VeriSign, and didn't make it clear that this was just a scam to get more money. Entropic - It's, of course, up to you, but I would most certainly recommend dropping VeriSign like a bad habit, and going with someone else. If you do decide to do this, might I suggest GoDaddy.com. The company name is a little strange, but they provide exactly the same thing that VeriSign provides at a third of the price. Plus, they are all fine, upstanding people. Aaron
