And thanks, Lobo3433. I have several programs for screen capture and editing. Just not for video. I might check that OBS thing out though, some things are just easier to show in real time :)

Thing is, stuff like robes are SO much better when they're dynamic.

The robe itself should be fairly easy to model. But if people shy away from dynamics .. Well ... it may not be worth the bother :(

That would indeed be nice. Some of my ilder items has no current thumbnail (not sure why) but I am not happy about fixing them if it means digging through old backups for the actuaæ zip files :/

How old is your mouse? When mine starts to fail (the do get worn out) it usually starts by thinking I will doubleclick when I only clicks once.It might be something that simple :)

Heyy. Welcome back. I have taken up Poser again myself this year. And I'm still trying to figure out what all the new things in PP11 will do. I have material presets that uses the Cycles Root, but I have no idea of why or what the benefit of that one is LOL

But don't shy away from Superfly. It's awesome. Firefly on steroids.

My computer is ancient and with an AMD graphics card (a cheapish one at that, the old one broke at a time of my economy where it was that or ... no card)

I hope to get a better card, ideally a new computer, but I'm also a realist. Also realist enough to know NOT to buy a new card as long as the BitCoin debackle is driving up prices.

But Superfly works fine anyway. Probably slower than on a good card, but it works and I can peruse forums, Facebook or even a real paper-and-print book while it renders

I'm not sure if the free UVMapper is still available, but it's a great little tool if so. That way you can easily check IF there's a UV map on the obj or not.

I've had sort of the same problem from time to time, exporting from Hexagon, which is my modeler of choice. I UV map it in Hexagon, and most of the time, the UV map carries over (anthough usually pretty mangled - but at least I have my material zones ...) - you can also check with Poser's Grouping Tool - perhaps your material zones ha been turned into groups? That way you can grab them and assign a material zone to them.

Poser's Grouping Tool is GREAT. Takes a little getting used to, but once you've got it, it can do a lot :)

Normally, with bought stuff, it's safe enough to simply unzip to the location where Poser keeps its Runtime folder. Where that is, depends a little on what you ticked off when you installed Poser. This time, mine ended up in users-shared files-shared documents, even though I was pretty sure I told Poser NOT to do so. Oh well, I found it and that's where I unzip new files into. Just check the folder with the Runtime. If suddenly there's a new folder, say you bought something called ... I dunno .. Steve's House. And there's a folder THERE, the same place as the runtime, called Steve's House .. then you know it wasn't made in compliance with for instance R'osity's policy for Proper Poser Paths. And then you'll have to move whatever is in Steve's House into your Runtime. But in 99% of the times, you're good by unzipping it to the (in my case) Shared Documents folder.

With all that said, it's always a good idea to peek inside the zip first. There might be a ReadMe specifying special places to install something.

And Miss B's way of doing it is certainly the safest way. I'm just generally lazy - and eager to see my latest acquisition ;) - if I can find it

I closed that tab and was going from link to link to anything that caught my fancy.

I agree, she's quite a cute thing. At first I was shocked at how fugly she loaded, but once she's been properly textured ect, she was surprisingly cute :)
