The first link in your update just takes me to the Daz site (PClub forum post was it?) I'm wondering though is it a good idea to work on the .daz format at the same time as the application? I know they want to eventually move away from the .cr2 format totally but wouldn't it make more sense to work on one part of it at a time rather than tinker with different bits at the same time? It's almost like attaching a cart to the horse before it's trained to pull it ;)

lol well Ratteler if we come right out & type exactly what we mean the thread will either be deleted or moved, anyway it's fun trying to think up new ways of not saying what we're saying without saying it.

Ah the updates, there's 2 of them so grab both & install the figure update first then the application update & like Eric said before you run it the first time.

Yep Poser5 can read the PP4 runtime with no hassle, even if it's installed on a different drive to Poser5. I'm not certain 100% if there is a limit to the number of folders in Poser5 (haven't found it yet) but with multiple runtimes you can have a seperate runtime for each character which would cut down the number of folders you have to trundle through. Just imagine you've got Vicky & Mike in seperate runtimes you'd never have to go through 150+ folders of Vicky poses to get to that Mike folder you want, all you'd have is the Mike folders to go through :)

If you hadn't reformatted the lost partition you might have been able to get your stuff back, tuneup utilities has an undelete function that can get almost anything back after it's been deleted.Thread: Small Username change from PheonixRising | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Didn't PhoenixRisen appeal to you then? The byAnton label is a good bit of marketing magic tho ;) people will remember it much easier than that burning bird thingy heh

ps It's quite possible even the clothes convertor can't help with some of the things you have & buying the daz figures may be the only way to use them properly.

I seriously doubt the Tailor will help much as it's only for putting morphs into the clothes, what you need is the clothes convertor (amazingly by the same person) at Daz.
