Going to try that. I love that utility.

Alas, it did not work.
Going to have to do some work if I read the error correctly. It's a bad Magic Number error. However the code is available to recompile....
So glad I grabbed that Humble Bundle of Python books.
See ya in a few folks!

No. Thanks for letting me know about this. I'll check it out.
Oh, please let this work!

There was(is?) a comic strip here in the gallery where V3 and V4 are arguing over their merits and in the last panel was Posette with a "Somebody hold my beer!' attitude.
That would be me. I never got round to finishing it, though. :(
I never saw part 2. Poor Dr. Geep.

Thread: Quickie Survey: What's Your Goto Figure in Poser? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Sorry to piggy-back on your thread/question, EClark. I'm curious if people might share some reasons they prefer one figure over another? Is it related to amount of supporting assets, materials and/or rendering quality, ease/range of posing, etc?
I'm pretty much brand-new to the Poser ecosystem and, similar to when I was first learning about DS, I'm curious when or why certain figures might be preferred over others, etc. In DS, I learned how in some scenarios, the newest options aren't necessarily the best ones.
Yes. I have Project E, Dawn and the new girl ;), but to knock out something quick, I got to what I have muscle memory for. And that's V4. Face it, she has several metric tons of assets available.

I found I do have the Littlefox tutorials. I probably got them on sale and then forgot. She uses MODO. Also, she recommends UVLayout. So that s two votes for UVLayout. I found some Hexagon tutorials, so that will be helpful. Hexagon is stable for me, but I've only really used it for morphs.
I beta tested UVLayout and it is superb!

There's the Digital Tailor stuff in the Rendo marketplace by Fugazi1968 and ironman13 as a start. Marvelous Designer seems good for the Dynamics. Jen Greenlees has some old (PoserPros?) tutorials for using Hexagon to model clothes up on Youtube.
Any modeling software should be good as long as you are familiar with it. (Blender since 2.79-80, with the interface changes seems very good and its FREE! ) Look for terrymcg on Deviantart as models the stuff he posts.
Hope this helps some.

There are things you can do inside Poser's Sketch Room, but you have to work with the settings to get there. This was based on a couple of passes of some custom settings I worked up, merged together in Photoshop, to create a pencil look. But I imagine that had I worked a bit more with the black point setting, it would create a pretty gosh darn good pen and ink look as well.
That really rendered nicely. Looks like it could be a page from a sketchbook.

Comic Stuff? Cool!!! Has anyone been able come up with a Kirby Krackles(tm) Skin shader? See Quasimodo. It doesn't have to vary in color (that would be nice though :) ) Something to indicate a form, but made of energy. Something akin to this:
