Skin Vue also only works for "Infinite" users. However, now it would seem like "Infinite" and "Non-Infinite" users alike might finally be able to transfer the results of products Faceoff's Realism kits, Poseworks ShaderSpider, etc into their Vue renders. On the "Particles" front, I've been wondering whether Posework's Particles v2.3 (available at DAZ3D) might now be an "even more" useful add-on when used in concert with Vue 6. I don't have the product, so I don't know how it manipulates the shader tree system. It's unfortunate that Vue 6 still offers "python scripting" in Infinite only. This choice has considerably shrunk the market for 3rd party add-ons / plugins. If Vue Esprit and above were to support Python as well it would likely have a respectable 3rd party following more along the lines of what "Poser 6" has now.

No, I'm saying that I feel that I've received more than I paid for (potentially one of the few) and so I'm hoping for more but not feeling owed it.

The way I see it, EF / CP could have certainly decided to just charge everyone for all the updates regardless of any imagined or real entitlements since we don't have the final say. So the fact that we're getting these without paying extra (such as instead having to buy Poser 7) to get these updates is why I'd consider them it to be free. It might be sad, but there are plenty of other software companies that wouldn't be as "nice". Additionally, since joining the passport program the price paid for passport membership has since been recovered (as far as I'm concerned) and anything beyond that I am going I'm going to consider to be "free", a "gift" and/or "extra value" IMHO. YMMV. I may be their only customer that doesn't say "You owe me!" :lol:

AFAIK... G2 James is "free" to all P6 owners but Passport members get them before everyone else. G2 Koji is "free" to all Koji owners but but Passport members get them before everyone else. Kelvin the newest G2 male figure (never before released and not part of P6) will be "free" to Passport members and sold to everyone else. So that would be my best guess. :biggrin:

You aren't missing too much anyway... If the CP forums were open to the public then everyone could enjoy choice quotes like this from Krazik (the programmer / web guy)... Straight from the CP Passport forums: "78% of cp visitors are on broadband, and only 9% on dialup." Hmmm...9% certainly sounds small, but it could be as many as 9,000 or more customers assuming their customer base is at least 100,000. Yet out of the blue...come Siggraph they'll immediately start selling Poser 7 at CP (and the patching process will begin anew).

Current versions of Photoshop, Vue Infinite, and Carrara Pro are around that price. Alot of people have all (or at least some) of these not to mention they've also purchased Poser (possibly several times) so it might not be (or seem) so expensive at all ? However, I'd say if you're using DAZ Studio because you cannot afford Poser than there would be fare more potential for it to be out of your budget. :lol:

IIRC, you can buy the whole volume 2 set at their site for $40 (sort of a pre-order) and you'll still get the models that come out afterward as soon they're released. :unsure:

Thanks for the price cut (even if temporary)! Can this set be purchased through your store here or Content Paradise (since alot of R'osity merchant products are for sale there as well) ? Both places allow for the ability to download later if lost which provides "Peace of mind". CP Passport members with CP reward coupons (which provides more motivation to purchase) still unspent are an audience that you hopefully won't choose to ignore. Count me in if I can acquire at either place.

The 2 new figures are NOT Poser figures. They come with the program for DEMO purposes and are not made by EF. They CANNOT be used outside VF for Poser, just ignore them. It should be made moer clear in the product description. :rolleyes:
