Quote - The goal is to make the cloth fit it on poser model. After it fit I will use it for online fashion store. the thing is the cloth will have to fit each model & also look as close to the orginal garment as possible
OK, but is there a reason, you would want it on a poser model, rather than just taking pictures of the clothing, either by itself or with an actual model?
I think it would be a lot less expensive that way.

Quote - I have front & back but not arms to the side. I am thinking of buying images that look like cloth & edit then in pshop. do u think this would be easer?

Can you give more details into what your overall goal is? Like, what your end result needs to be, what this is for, etc.... Someone may be able to come up with an alternative...

Thread: Hesitating to buy model if there is a RTEncoder involved? (mini poll) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have hesitated in the past and have had issues due to having the wrong version of the obj file as well as it being an extra step that I'd rather not have to do.
I'd like something that works across all versions and also has an automated setup so I don't have to look for anything.
Thread: Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core - any good for Poser? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I haven't noticed much difference, maybe a couple of seconds in sim and render times?
However, I use other 3d that's that use dual cpu's so I feel it was worth it. If you are upgrading anyway, it couldn't hurt and the pricing is close to single cores.

Quote - Poser 5 and 6: use the Tile 2D material node and feed it into the transparency input. Invisible tiles and visible mortar, and there's your mesh. A simple flat-mesh object can be draped as dynamic cloth, and there you are. This picture is a tarpaulin I dynamiced over some props and converted to a new .obj -- no need for the props then. As a net, it does need something under it.

Could you elaborate on this for those of us unfamiliar with the material room?

Glad this was bumped since I didn't see it before. :)
This sounds like a good project and $2k isn't bad for the hardware. Any idea what price range you are looking at for the software?
Also, would you need an indoor studio or would this stuff work outside as well?
I like the fact that you would probably be able to take it anywhere to use and it is sort of in the price range for hobbyists as well.

Thread: Need help with an orbit. | Forum: Vue
OK, I decided to try your advice and just make the two planes vertical and horizontal. It is not ideal because the planes now have to be perpendicular to each and the angles aren't quite what I want anymore, but the orbit thing works.
The cylinder thing had the same results of my first attempt, it rotates around the wrong angle.
If anyone knows of a way to have the rotation/orbit work on different angles let me know, but I am going to try it with the perpendicular angles for now.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Wasn't it a button on the product pages before? If so, any reason it was removed?
