Rayraz, thank you for your answer. Is IBL more efficient (faster) than the light dome? Because IBL is very slow...
FranOnTheEdge, I have found this tutorial by Nick Jushchyshyn about light domes, perhaps you can find it useful...

Hello,

If I understand correctly, the effect of the light dome is to give the scene an even illumination, without harsh shadows. Is it equivalent to use the IBL feature of Bryce 6.0?

I think that these kind of contests are more geared to the people which are rather experienced with the program, but not for the novices, who are unlikely to win the prize. Of course it depends also of the possibility of having different categories.

Thank you, Boofy and orbital; yes I have many questions... I will ask them little by little :-)
I have seen the Bryce galleries, but given the quality of the renders that are posted, I think that I must improve my work before uploading it :-)
The idea of the collaboration with other people is very interesting... Are there any projects that are made in collaboration?

I have been working in the temple and the podium. I have a question here: when I try to selecy an object (for example a cilinder), the list of objects that appear is very long; for exemple, the list shows all the cylinders from all the columns. Is there a way to hide their names? The textures are not correct: Emporiae was a little town, and they did not have money enough for marble. In fact, the walls are columns are covered by stucco. Do you know where I could find stucco textures to use in Bryce? Next step is the portico around the temple. Thank you! :-) Well, before going to bed, here is the progress of the forum! First of all, I have used the plans and charts made with the archaeologists, and I have made a first scheme locating the temple and podium (at the centre), the porticos with the columns, etc (
