Oh and as far as that blue-ish thing from my first example, well... i think it 's some kind of bug in the preset atmosphere that come with Vue, the one with the stars in it. If i pre-load that atmosphere, it comes in all blue on it 's own !**

Oh... ignore my last post will ya.
I was doing it in the 'standard mode' and not in the 'volumetric mode' atmosphere model.
I just wanted you all to show AGAIN how stupid i can be sometimes LOL !! ;-)
It is working great now :-)

Thread: Quality what settings to use for printing? | Forum: Vue
Can 't really help on the render settings here as i 'm still learning that myself, but i found this great article months ago which explains all about the dpi / ppi mystery, and i for one learned a lot from it :-)
So i give you http://www.dpiphoto.eu/dpi.htm
I encourage you all to read it trough and you will see the light at the end of the tunnel !
Hope this will help you a bit :-)

Just found out that the scaling tool does the job, but i 'd rather have the individual dials.

I like 'em small too :-)
My experience so far is only with Aiko3. With this figure it 's possible to dial them even 'almost' completely away without messing the geometry up too much. And i 'm also using magnets a lot to change other bodyparts as well.
Maybe this is gonna be a bit overkill on the topic here, but honestly i can 't understand why a lot of women in real life want to enlarge their breasts via a boob job.

I kept all the update installers, that is indeed a good tip that i could try if things run bad.
Thanks :-)

Thread: setting advice for volumetric light renders | Forum: Vue
I would suggest what i did and first make area renders before you render the whole image. Probably with godrays i would think you have to give a quality boost in the sky-fog-haze tab and maybe also some quality boost in the lighting tab.
Keep in mind the large render times when upping these boosts ! As you can see on the two examples i posted and the render time that came with them :-)
I can 't say what is better for this, volumetric or spectral mode because as i said before, when it comes to render settings i 'm still somewhat of a newbie LOL !

Thread: setting advice for volumetric light renders | Forum: Vue
Actually, after posting the image onto Rendo i was playing with it again in Photoshop and applied a smart blur to it very softly, and that also fixed the grain away.
Should have done it before posting the image but i did not think of it at that time.
Thanks for the link, i never heard of that plug-in before :-)
