Quote - Hi swordman10,
the link that Bob gave you is the right one. You can download Reality at any time by using the Support menu of the site.
Cheers.
Cheers Guys,
All upgraded to 4.5 & 2.5 respectively, so far so good, and no dreaded 'duplicate errors'. Mind you I don't have very much Genesis content at this time.
Thanks,
S.K.

You can get the same performance from an Intel 3930K, as the 3960k at almost half the price.
They are excellent overclockers and about the fastest desktop processor you can get.
I have three systems built around this platform...thoroughly recommend it.

Quote - Just a quick note to let you know that the light set I'm putting together is coming along nicely, if all goes well it should be ready for you fairly soon. I would like to thank Kim, Jay and Xandi for testing things for me (us) and for their suggestions.
These light props are amazing.
Where can I download or purchase them from.??
Cheers,
S.K.

Hi Paolo,
Great News on the Poser version of Reality... I had a feeling this was in the pipeline..congrats.. I will be purchasing a copy, or side grading or, what ever is available to current reality users.
Don't worry about some of the Poser nay sayers, I always find it amazing how some people will react irrationally when something new comes along..
Use it or don't use it' ..'shrug'.... its really not THAT important in the grand scheme of things.. but for me, Reality for poser will be the hook to start using that software again.
Hope you wife has a swift recovery. Prayers and thoughts to you both.
Regards,
SK.

Hi Guys,
Lux 1.0RC2 seems very stable, even the gpu 'hybrid' renderer is almost usable...great effort from the lux guys.
Paolo..I am interested in trying out the 'none' volume intergrator, but I can't find any reference to the Volume Intergrator in the Lux scene file..
Will the next iteration of Reality allow us to choose world volume's and such.??
Cheers,
S.K.
p.s. have you also rethought / reconsidered doing a version for Poser, ducks head down to avoid impending stoning....Lol...
Thread: Poser 8 SR3--Library error / problem--'HELP''.. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I tried updating to the latest version of Flash player. But the Problem still exists.
Its not a problem on my system running windows 7 as I can just click ok and carry on as normal.
But for some reason, on my system running XP PRO 64, it will not allow me to okay the error and carry on, so the Library will not load, making it useless.
Anyway, to the back of the 'Hard drive' it goes, it was worth a punt at $99.00
Back to using Carrara 8 Pro.
Cheers all for your help.

Thanks baggins bill,
I will try updating the flash player and see what happens.
It is doubtless an old version as these machines, and the 'problem machine' in particular which is over two years old, are purely for 3D work, no internet, no multimedia, no other software accept CG related software.
Will have to try this later as my 20month old son is currently 'fighting' me for control of the keyboard..Lol

Correct.
I try to click 'OK' but it does not do anything.
I have just tried an install on my other machine running windows 7 Premuim 64, and although I get the same error I am able to 'OK' it and I can load the Library as normal.
Most odd.

Hi baggins bill,
Thankyou for your quick reply.
The error I am getting is the one illustrated in the screen grab..I mentioned that I thought it maybe comprised of several issues due to there being several lines of errors showing in the Library U.I.
The machine in question IS NOT connected to the internet and has no facility to do so. My firewall software is the windows standard firewall that comes with XP PRO and it is disabled.
The requirement for Poser 8 to connect with CP, was that introduced as part of the service pack upgrade.??, because I did not have any problems before installing SR3.
Cheers.

Quote - Romans didn't have swords, the gladius is not a sword, is a long knife used as secondary weapon. The primary weapon was the pillum ( a pike).
The Roman or Latin name for sword is spatia and not gladius.
The spatia even knwon and taken from the Iberians had no practical use as a weapon, because a sword without steel is useless and easily breaks in the first combat.
The sword as a weapon only appeared with the Saracens and were improved by the Spanish, the first swords were from Damasco and later from Toledo.
Even so, in the begining were very rare and legendary, (excalibur, the sword of the Cid, etc). It was very dificult to find or make a sword that had a primitive steel, were very expensive, so only a grand grand lord could afford it, it were useless and broke easily, so the weapons used by the soldiers remained to be the classical pikes, clubs, hammers, axes.
Only in the 16th century swords become the main weapon for Spanish soldiers together with ballistas and primitive guns.
Wrong, wrong, and wrong...

The 64 bit version of Carrara is currently being worked on. from what I gather the codebase has already been recompiled to 64bit and is currently undergoing testing. This information comes directly from a member of the daz development teem.
So hopefully we should see 64bit Carrara in a 7.5 release I would imagine.

Awesome thankyou very much.. that will do nicely.
I'm sure I saw another one as well, where the bucking bronco was just like a rectangular box on a platform, but for the life of me I cannot place it. It may not have been on this site though.
Again Many thanks

Hi debbie,
I'm not sure, but it failed to unzip on both of my machines when I tried winzip. However, in the last 10 minutes I have been able to unpack the file using winrar, so no drama's.
cheers,
Nick.
