Gentlemen, think about this message, you are as good as "letting the cat out of the bag" by telling the rest of the world where and how to shoplift yours and others goods! Now go down to the local Safeway and post a list of your household appliances, your address and what times you wont be home on their notice board. Can I suggest you delete your posts immediately in order to protect your own interests. I may seem blunt but assure you I care so please go into damage control, before it costs you more.
Tommy.

Sorry mate but all I got was a whole heap of popups, banners and unsolicited advert files trying to download. May I suggest your friend puts his site on a better server. Tommy.

Thread: Which software do I need? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Bryce is sounding good, but I remember trying it once and found the interface puzzling compared to Poser. 3Dstudio max 3 can be picked up cheap today or the Amapi free version also seems enticing too. Still trying to decide. Tommy.

Ramnimus, I have the Dsculptor from Computer Arts but reading the magazine it needs a set number of radial views from different angles to operate, also have Photomodeller lite which is a free download and shows more promise just running the tutorial now. Dan, I've checked Corels exports and yes it can output EPS which is the Adobe Illustrator standard format, hope you can tell me some more regarding FormZ. Tommy.
Thread: VIRUS WARNING - Emails from Sams3d | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Just made me grab for my nitro glyc pills, and perform every scan on the planet. I received 3 blank rosity newsletters this week then 2 full copies?????? all within half an hour, Norton antivirus checked them all but none had attachments. I regularly get infected email attachments from people I've never had any contact with but who are in the same interest circles and have been blatantly accused and crucified on boards as the perp of others misery due to a virus using my email address gained from my website. My two pennies worth is that Sharen is one of the most helpful and complimentary people here, she has performed all the scans without result, has more than adequate protection and updates daily. Some diplomacy and respect is in order. Tommy.
Thread: Why me? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
My HP Pavilion is only 3 years old Ron and came with 3.2 gig and 46meg ram, considered adequate back then LOL and it cruised well for all my photo, Coreldraw and internet requirements... Then I purchased Poser4 and worse still discovered Rosity freestuff etc, (know the feeling?)suddenly entered a whole new world of frustrating technology that never seems to work to plan. Painfully obvious these days that a new PC is needed but short of winning the lottery here I am. When I upgraded we tried ME but couldn't find drivers anywhere for half my hardware, hence sticking with Win98. Tommy.

Well guys I did D/L P3DO and you are on the ball, absolutely brilliant!, is all I can say. Still exploring its features and help files but already got the hang of it. The tutorial link on PBoost is a 404 Ron, I'll check the MP to find out more and yes Les a turn off all the lights switch is desperately needed. Tommy.
Thread: Poser Files | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Another little tip to make it easy finding and opening the Poser progam files... locate the Metacreations or Curious Labs program folder (usually............... c:Program FilesMetacreations ) and right-click.. choose add a shortcut to desktop, Now you only need click it and then open the "runtime" folder. I have started another new folder (name it what you like) with sub folders on the desktop too, containing morphs, assorted textures, read-me instructions, and backgrounds, PZ3's and saved work that doesn't need to be in posers prog folder, just a way to avoid clutter and make these items a little easier to locate. Another newbie helpful is making a scrapbook page in wordpad, then any good text advice you see on the message board can be copied and pasted to the wp page for later reference without searching back through the forums. Get busy, Tommy.

Welcome Bidsy, I posted an identical plea a few months back, between the FAQ here and the URL I'm posting it eventually became easier. Poser file comprehension is somewhere between genius and insanity, I'm still learning, LOL. The pages at that website are a little rusty, what I did was print them out and referred to the charts each time I added new files. Tommy. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience.
