1st- electroglyph - 3 pts - "keep looking for swimming holes in your life. The people with the concrete never stop looking for ways to fill you in." that's what's conquered me really bout this image.
Good narration too.
2nd - 2 pts -skiwillgee - great scene and mood
3rd- 1 pt - bobbystahr - like the simple scene but the shadows reveals yrs of "Brystering" - thers no heretical app really, you know that, don't you ?
HM to :
Orbital :you're a pro, and your modeling skills are just awesome.
adbc - man, the render is good but try to get some real life too...
Thread: I give up. | Forum: Bryce
**Incognitas.. I had the same import problems a while ago... then I discovered that EVERY MATERIAL imported in Bryce that carries within the : symbol as namefile is ruining the saved scene somehow, til the point that when you got to reopen the saved file, its impossibile.
SO try this, once imported the Poser file, check EVERY surface/material REMOVING every
" : " symbol that you find.
You got to remove all of them....

Thread: Estimate Time of Render | Forum: Bryce
My terror using the onscreen render is that I lost the job for long time renders for accidents like blackouts or some PC screwup, so I do prefer at all times Render to Disk... and it seems quickier too... but that's definely a graphic card issue, I think...
Thread: Estimate Time of Render | Forum: Bryce
Thanx Agent Smith , I think I understood the flaw in my original statement... If I may call for some additional info, do this means of calculate ETR include Render to Disk too... ??

I have always envyed your modeling skills, and I do like so much the concept
of your creations.
Seems like a space carrier... is it ?

Orbital, I just hit the thread and wished to be in your shoes... I think there's no better rewards in life to be remembered as an inspirational teacher.
I do not know of course what it will become to you all of this, but I know some of the students will certainly not forget Bryce and its potential.
YESS rosie is more than right, hit that imaginative button and you will have them "foverer" yours...
Thread: byrcers..help.. really help.. | Forum: Bryce
Sorry about your loss Rosie... I understand your feeling perfectly because I lost my mother last year, and during that time I gave up Bryce and creative leaps in general for long, to stay beside her and help her.
I'm trying my best to repay my debt to her, in part re-igniting that creative sparkling that I happen to have, from time to time
Hey, get that spirit silverblade33 is talking about...
I get too the neat impression that you need to spiritually "kick ass"
And, yes, you can really, really hug him more than ever now... being an happier woman who unweaveringly believe in her dreams...
Thread: byrcers..help.. really help.. | Forum: Bryce
Young lady... your aim is to learn what's your art trigger... creativity is "just" a mind state in which we can be... or not. It's not a duty, doesn't work that way. Can be something relaxing, and something that make our time slip by like hours like a minute. Are you afraid of this ? Or are you afraid of letdowns... ? Creativity is rewarding by itself, remember that. And I'd say that your goal is to heal yourself with your creativity.... you're right. Simple art can heal the soul.
Open a thread here, like with a simple render of yours, and ask us to respond, with another render or an advice or simple feedback.
Also, don't forget to hug your dad at least once a week, to get a walk in some place you find rewarding at least two times a week... you know what I mean...
After I got a glance at your gallery I noted that you love to write a lot. Maybe that's your art trigger... write at least a page down of ... what you want, and THEN try to render an idea of yours.
Ask me for any tech matter , or any solution in Bryce, I'd be glad to reply.
Clear Skies,
zorzim

Thread: September challenge theme: Down by the river!!!!! | Forum: Bryce
Down by the river theme... that includes just to say... Hudson river in New York... if I don't want to do a greenery scene because I don't feel like it, I suppose I can do it...
A no-blade-of-grass river is still within the challenge ... ?
