Thread: Target Geometry Has Wrong No. of Vertices????? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Cat9, I'm not savvy on the morph things, but, get the latest MacConverter utility, and you'll never have to go into MSW again. It's a GREAT little app. As to MTs, yes make sure that the identical object is being applied to the same obj. ie: Chest ==> Chest. do NOT add any extra points , verticies, faces or lines when doing your morph. Just one of these will give you an incompatibility. All you can do is , move, scale, bend, twist, deform, etc. Hope this helps. James

Thanls for the tip Freak, but i indeed wanted to have it open. Might just be a little to much for a morph. I'll more than likely just post it as a static prop. Oh well here's an update.
James My she's been standing there for a long time. heheh

I still liked the fire much netter. But perhaps if you use a much thicker typeface. Hard to read at first. James
Thread: Still Trying | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The servers that run the net only want a 3 leter extention. ie: .jpg, .gif etc, the only reason that some will take a 4 letter extention is if the server administrator manually configs the server to do so. not a widely spread practice. Anyway, well worth the wait. Very nice James
Thread: TEXTURE MAP SIZE QUESTION ... AGAIN... HELP!!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Or try Jpegs. Helps Poser chug through large files. I'm also assuming you're on a MAC if you're using "picts" I know this may sound like a big Duh.. but if you're on a PC "Picts" won't work. Also I myself have rarly gone above 1500 x 1500, I have tried a 2000 x 2000 map and that worked fine. James

Well it seems to be only "just a big file" I guess whomever stuffed it did something wrong. it downloaded at 13.5 as i said, set up an install folder and the installation ran fine. But all-in-all I have installed it and so far, no big crashes and or nothing staring me in the face that seems wrong. hair seems to be going on the head, clothes seem to be conforming. I still get a texture or bump map can't be found every once in awhile. (But that happened anyway). So far, so good . I hope I don't jynx it. ;-) Remember guys and gals, we are talking about the MAC version here. (just in case) James

Well I let it run it's course. It ended up as a 13.04 meg file. I haven't done anything with it yet. (it's late, I'm going to bed) But it seemed to unstuff fine, no error msgs yet. I'll keep you informed. James

Thread: New Male Tex WIP update 1 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Heheheh Darth, If I told you then i'd have to kill you. snicker But really. It's quite simple, only one catch. You have to have the image file somewhere on the web ie:On your own website. Then with a little HTML codeing. Viola Just do an img scr="http://www.yoursite.com/image.jpg" With "<>" less than and greater than symbols before and after the code.

Well I've gotten a bit further, Trans map for the eylashes, whitened teeth, fixed a few minor things on the face, added chest hair, and try as I may (tried uping the map size to 2000 x 2000 pixels, but still have a problem with stretching textures along the chin and jaw line. I'm tring to embed a new pic here, if that doesn't work, i'll have to display it in a new post. I'm not too great at the body textures, so i might just post it unfinished and you can just throw some clothes over him. ;-) James

Thread: Help Please | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I can't tell you why. But I've experienced this problem too. It seems to go away after I close poser (save first) and re-open the file. I think Poser gets confused with textures, even if there isn't one there I'd like to know why also, if anyone has any insights. James
Thread: Inspired by Bushi! Male Glossy/wet eyes (simple version) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes if you right click (PC) click and hold (MAC) do a "Save Image as". Even though it saves as Message68400.jpg it still is readable. Then click and drag and highlight the text to copy it, then copy and paste. If that still doesn't work I will post it somewhere. James PS: I hope this means this is a useful tip ;-)
