select the verticies for the section of the mesh you want for each section (hip/thigh/shin) and "detach polygons", then name the selection with poser's naming scheme. save the mesh in .obj with full path for grouping...
Thread: Site update... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Barry... sorry it took so long to get this far. No need to worry about getting me to build it... it was a learning experience. The major downfall was using RDS to build it. I don't recall how many times I've started over on it, because RDS locked up "error -4" and corrupted the saved file. Once I bought Rhino3d, it went VERY quickly. I would have to say precise mesurments were the hard part. If you've got anymore fields in .dwg or .eps or even links to sites with measurements for others, send them my way and I'll knock them out (MUCH quicker now that I'm using Rhino). -Robert

Slight correction on the price of Rhino3D. Directly from www.rhino3d.com it costs $795, $195 with academic affiliation. DVDirect & SafeHarbor both carry the "retail" version of it for a little less... You can also find it even cheaper through academic software houses. Only reason I know so much about its price is because I just bought it recently, and let me say.... it ROCKS! There are also a few "workspaces" out there for it that make it look alot like A/W PA or SI if that is what you like.

Alias/Wavefront Power Animator is a high end modeling/rendering package. Its up there with the likes of Maya, SoftImage....etc. I'm just guessing here, but I would think the figures are NURBS. -Robert

I'd be happy to make the additions to my site, all I need is the webmaster's name & url. I have been a little heasitant to post the "erotic" site urls due to constraints by my isp. But, provided there is some kind of "wall" or disclaimer prior to the gallery that contains them, and they are not blatant ponography, I'll figure out a way to post them too. -Robert

Both, the hair and the beard were done via the smudge tool in PSP6. The beard was done on the t-map, and the hair is post production. The same goes for the motion blur, post production in PSP6.

Steve Cox's UVMapper will do what you want... I use it on every new figure/prop I build. Its a very nice utility. Get it here at his site.

2ndPlanet - Thank you, comments noted. Nice... simple and to the point. :) pack - Thanks. I would have done all that, but it would have sat on my drive longer... There are some great t-map creators in this community, I'm hoping to see them do some of this.. :) Trav - LMAO... Thats what was running through my mind durring thier creation... Now I just gotta come up with somebody that wants thier um....@#% kicked. :) BAR BRAWL! -SMACK! -Robert

Eric, what else to say but "SWEET"? Yet another great addition to an already outstanding library. Thanks. -Robert p.s. Site updates for poser related content would strike me as a relevant "on-topic" info. Just my penny's worth (has anyone seen where I dropped that other penny?).
