Prikshatk, It is free... DAZ's options are just a P.I.T.A. Make sure you don't have "Burn this order To CD" checked off. Also, you can check off Paypal as an option, but since the final cost is $0.00, you won't have to worry. I just got her about 2 hours ago. =P

It's not just stealing the ego. It contributes to diluting of one's brand especially of they sell their art. It is pure theft. Ego has nothing to do with it.

As for Daz Removing controversial threads, Ynsean posted one and it remained fine. Plus there's another long one basically telling Daz what's wrong about their website update and implimentation where I said they needed to fire their web team if they did not test the server on a disgnated test server... Post is still there. I'm not shy about telling them they need to improve things, it's all in the way you tell them.

I just PM'd Dee...
This is a serious security hole that needs to get patched up ASAP. Another instance occurred in the Copyright Forum today. It's a little more widespread then having to delete cookies if multiple members are having the SAME EXACT issue. I have a degree in computers in business applications and one of my required courses was Information Security.

Or They may not be aware of the situation. Poser Pros is also in Tennesse with Renderosity, so we don't know if it was legal ramifications or R'osity playing on the safe side in this matter. The only one to Answer that question is The Admins here. As for PP, Gareee your best bet is to contact Russell or Guarie due to Mehndi's continued health issues.

Bingo, Softriver. I keep my paypal account for when I want to buy things, plus it helped that when I ran a Ventrilo Server, that was the easiest way to handle billing and member contributions to said billing.

Now also consider that Paypal imposes a $500 dollar fine on any site site breaking it's mature audience TOS. This fine was established on 8/23/04 and went into effect 9/23/04. So Renderosity may not be suffering from greed. They may need to protect themselves and thier merchant by taking these steps. It might seem exteme, but given Paypal's track record with freezing accounts and the merchants needing that money, I'd say it's probably wise.
