Everything is 3d and done in Bryce. The coffe cup and tin are Bryce standard objs. The rose is Zygotes. The book and blotter are mine, and of course the Poser figure/lamp is my own creaton. James
Thread: Mimic beta Lipsync plugin for Poser free download available! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
2 Things: 1: I guess they lost their database and you will have to re-register, but after that the download is there. 2: Remember boys and girls. This is PC not MAC. (but since i have Poser installed through "SoftWindows" I thought I'd give it a try) I have also requested that if they indeed do have a Beta for the MAC to inform me. James
Thread: Importing Figures into Bryce | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
As far as I can tell. Trying to give you a quick fix. Is when you apply the texture in Bryce. You must also apply the Trans map as well. On the MAC this can be achived by creating an alpha map and saving it as a 32 bit pict. and then adjusting in the materials requester. I hope there is something similar in the PC. If not I guess you can load each map seperatly (texture and trans) in the materials requester. Also play with texture rotation if things look a little screwy. I hope this helps, and sorry for all the miss-spellings, I'm in the middle of xmas stuff too, and writing this in a hurry. James
Thread: Finally a Ho, Ho, hardy thanks to Zygote | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
LOL, How did this end up a CD-R thread? It all started as a thanks to Zygote. BTW, The Bun was lost through my switching from an old 75 mhz MAC to my new G4. It was just plain stupidity on my part. Not the lack of backup. ;-) James

Thanks for the advice. I wish I could afford one. (CDR) I seem to be constantly using my saved pennies for upgrades these days. And that's pulling a rabbit out of my hat . But you're correct, BACKUP IS KEY. Now that I have 10 megs I seem to forget. And since my ZIP drive has the cronic (albeit fatal) click, backup is extreamly difucult. Oh for the new days of a new DAT drive ;-) James

It's a bit late Adam, but I have a Menorah if you need one. It is a little clunky at the corners. But usable. James
Thread: Male Jeans texture problems | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
LOL , one more thing. The reason Bushi that the shape of the butt looks different is determined by the placement of the pockets, beit the texture or the actual placement of the verticies ;-) James
Thread: Male Jeans texture problems | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Bushi: No I am indeed just using the one model "Male Jeans" But you are correct that it DOES indeed look like I used 2 models. I guess this is a flaw in the the model itself. I even tried using the "UVMapper" program. just to see if the pockets and or something else was there to create this. If I were a bit more comfortable with creating a new posable figure I guess i would try to just resave the obj file. Tina: If you figure it out let me know. The back pockets on a pair of jeans is crucial to me. makes the difference between a Wrangler cowboy, a Levis man, or a designer wearer ;-) James
Thread: Exporting MetaStream question | Forum: Bryce
Thanks Fast Traxx!!! Works like a charm. But on a MAC it's 88 + D ( 88 = the apple key) Unfortunatly, it doesn't allow for a Metastream export. But that will come ;-) Thanks again!
