Diane, The lightbulb was correct :-) I understand the templates and how to do it. At least for the dress it worked so I assume it will for the rest of the outfits. I went and got the UVMapper program so I'm all set. My, I feel like I accomplished so much today. Claire

Yes, it was also easier than I thought...I think it was the bit about not attempting it (if you're faint at heart :-)that threw me off but it definitely works better than the Meta one did. I saved an .obj file with no problem at all. Now if someone would just do a tutorial on how to use the new Vicki clothes templates I would be truly happy Claire

Ok. I'm going to give this a try now too. I d/l the patch from Meta awhile back and had a lot of problems with trying to save .obj files to use in Bryce. I gave up and removed the patch. Now I see I'm going to have to go ahead and do it after all. I have to admit that I'm awfully nervous about this :-) Claire

Diane, I hope somebody does the long dress map too - or at least tells us how to do it. That was the first thing I did and I have this smeary texture from the knees down :-) I think I may need a tutorial (again :-) for this pack of clothes. Claire

Yes, thanks a lot! It's an excellent tutorial and I had bookmarked it way back when but then couldn't find it when I needed it. I should have printed it out at the time. Serves me right :-)

And there seems to be a problem with Vicki's hair in importing her to Bryce. It comes through looking solid. I think you have to make it transparent and I've put the map for the transperancy in the middle box of the texture editor but she still looks wrong. Help would be appreciated :-)
