Nope, not since I downloaded Version 6.0 last year. My 5.5 imported them "No Problem", I reported it at DAZ and never got an answer and then went to the forums and got a bunch of hogwash that didn't work either :^(ย Man I want to use some of them cars bad, but hey, I guess not!!!

Thread: Opinions on Bryce 6 Tutorial DVD | Forum: Bryce
Personally The First DVD is better and more explanitory than the second. It is longer and does a better job covering the small things. Both have additonal materials, objects and the whatnot that by itself makes it worth it. Even though I was already good at Bryce when I purchased the DVDs I was suprised to see additonal things that I had never heard of from Anywhere. I purchased mine on sale 50% off and with a Platinum Membership received 30% and then take off the $5 DAZ cradits you for each month I litterally only paid a few dollars each for the DVDs and That's the way to purchase stuffย ; ^ D Get either or both, you will not be disappointed!!!

It would be interesting to see if Particle 3 performed even close to Particle Illusion, but it does look promising!!!!

Remember this also. You want to make sure you get a high speed RAM with your system. I run 2-3.2 Dualcores with DDR2. DDR2 hasย several different speeds of RAM that will all work in my system, but only 5 that I considered.

Thread: Can Bryce generate Storms, Eruptions, Quakes ? | Forum: Bryce
I think what you are asking is 'Can Bryce Generate Storms, Lightning, Volcanic Eruptions' in the same manner that Lightwave 3D does through the Digital Particle Stream it calls Hypervoxels and the answer is "NO", But I agree with the Bryster that many people have created, from scratch, some Very Awesome looking storm sequences. And for that matter Neither can Vueย generate them, but you can create it in much the same manner as you would in Bryce.

Yes, They be Exactly Square, in TG1, now TG2 acceptions any ol dog running the streets, JPG. BMP, . I haven't tried tiff or raw yet, probably will not. BUt the Bryce overhead shots looks realy incredible in TG1 or 2. Ceck this one, it is made from overlays that were made in Bryce6:

Yeah, with the SO Pack Overlay Plug-In TG Classic will import Square Bitmaps, {Emphases} on the SQUARE and they must be bitmaps. Most of those in my gallery that are labeled 100% Overlays have some or all overlays I created from Bryce. They work REALLY Well TG Classic and you can use them in TG2 also!!!! But that's a different strip on a different cat #^P

Also if you are using DDR2 you can upgrade from PC 4200-533MHz RAM to PC5400-667MHz RAM or better yet PC 6400-800MHz RAM and if your system can stand the over clocking PC 8000-1000MHz RAM and PC 8500-1066MHz RAM. Mine would only go to PC 6400, but let me tell you that was a intensely marked improvement over the PC 4200 RAM that came with it. I can now handle scenes that are in the upper hundreds of billions of polygons and before if was a stretch for 70 or 80 billion polys. Just make sure you pick it with the correct case latency. They are all 240 pin and work in the same slots.
