And my twain scanner is not being picked up by windows XP, so in order to scan anything I have to hok the scanner to another computer I have that much much slower and a pain in the ass to operate because it's messing u p writing disks, I had to toss out about 5 cd's because the hp cd writer wrote bad tracks for some reason.....HOwever the scanner works but getting things moved is a problem, Ill have to get the whole drive removed and put in the new computer I just hope windows 98 does not conflict with xp being that is a master disk drive with a windows setup.

These attempts to use poser were to speed up the process even though these are poser influenced tracings not renderings. Finally I decided to use poser as a guide to designing the scenes, which even though is more time cinsuming My art style stands out more that way rather then drawing over renderings I decided to use printouts to simply get me there.

Question does that limitation in poser 4 only apply to props folders or does it also apply to figures and geometries? Do they each get 256? or is that the overall number of folders combined for all catagories shared between them?

I do not like texturing figures without mat files in poser 5 because I don't understand how transmapping is done for eye lashes and brows, And the materails room even tho it is advanced and does alot more can be a pain to work with. sO, If I must custom job a figure withexturo it in poser 4. Save me time and a headace.

Well im running 2 versions of poser, 4 and 5 fully stocked I guess I cou slim down poser 4 since I use it for quick renders and texturing of the millenium figures, I can delete all files to Don and Judy because I never ever use them at all in poser 5, maybe by the time this is done ill get a grreat portion of my drive back, poser and 5 are running on 30 gigs each on my drive at a total of 60 gigabytes between them both being fully stocked with oser stuff. Poser 5 has copies of everything I downloade for poser 4, but I see this is getting to be a problem. Some people have said why not just move your runtime folder, I did, and poser 5 became corrupted and would nopt open each time I did it in Windows XP. When I had windows 98 this never happened.

Ill get p boost until I can Ill clean out poser4 by moving stuff to fewer files and hope everything does not ask me for a texture because it's in a strange folder.
