Thread: Winter Clothing for Poser Characters | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Hope you find them, Ed. Those were some pretty nice clothes. Same goes for me, I'll take them free or not.
I think they are on my old computer... at least I hope they are:)
I will let everyone know
Thread: Looking for a baseball field | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I was looking for a zip file with some winter clothes I did for V3 and M3.... and guess what
I found a zip that had a baseball field that I started on but never finished.... It shouldn't take me long to fix it up and I'll post it when I do. Now if I can find the zip for the clothes I'll be happy:)

Well I haven't forgotten about these... but I also haven't found the zip file for them yet.... but I did find the baseball field I was working on once upon a time:)
I think it's on a hard drive in my old computer. I'll have to look there

A square wouldn't really work since the cut out area is an arc. The bases are square though:) This is something that I have been thinking about doing for a while... I was more thinking of making a softball field since they are smaller than a baseball field. As randy says.. there doesn't seem to be much interest in sports sets.
Do you need this in a hurry? I'll be busy with family things for the next couple of days, but it shouldn't take too long to put one together.

Quote - Wow Ed I LOVE those clothes. Why would you say it was a waste? I'd pay for them! Some normalcy.
Well considering the amount of time I spent adding all the morphs and jcms compared to the number of them that sold, it was a big waste of my time. I can say I learned alot from modeling these though:)
As I said above... If I can find the zip, I'll send it to you.

I'm at work right now.. I'll look and see if I still have the zip this evening when I get home. If I can find it I will give it to you.

Thread: How do you use Dynamic clothes so it attaches to character since frame zero? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - FrankT,
You know in the parameters dials where it has the dynamics at 1.0....what is that for? Should you play with that setting? Tutorials never mention that dial...[/quotethat parameter is like an on/off switch. It turns the dynamics for the cloth on or off
on at 1 and off at 0. I've turned it up higher and had a great laugh at the result when you played the animaiton back...

From the looks of your pics, it's looks like the JCMs aren't working. V3 is has a lot of jcms... The best way I've found to make them work is to make sure the base figure (V3) is selected before you load the clothing... then conform the clothing. Poser will take the rotations from the figure that is active (selected) when you load the clothing. If that makes no difference then I'd have to say that they (the jcms) are not slaved to work off the base figure.
To fix this, you need to do some cr2 hacking.

Thread: Why when i create a Fullbody morph, dial only changes face? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I guess I didn't explain myself too well
Look at the FBMs and PBMs in the BODY and note the setting of the master dial... then go to the body parts which are used by that PBM and set the dials according to what the master dial in the BODY is set at... and set the Master in the BODY to "0".
If the morphs are set in the body part (hip, abdomen, etc) you are ok... don't mess with them.... just the ones that are set in the BODY. Any non zero dial in the BODY needs to be set in each of the body parts. I will take you a little time to do... and you will need a little patience.
With all the body parts morphs set, you should have Margot:).... then create your full body morph.... and remember if you have any facial expression set it will be saved in the morph.
After you have your full body morph... you need to zero out all the body part morphs.. and set your full body morph.. If all went as planned you will have Margot again:)
Thread: Why when i create a Fullbody morph, dial only changes face? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - So i should go to each body part and spawn? But i don't get how to do this. aren't all the morphs for each body part already spawned in the v3 character? So if my v3 character is a modified character, i should set all morphs to 0.0 so she will end up looking like v3 base figure. Then modify all the morphs and then Create the full body morph? However, that would mean that i'm making my own v3 character..but i want to use the ones i bought from renderosity. how do i do what you said for them?
No just set the morphs in the body parts...you don't need to spawn morphs in each body part
if the FBM or PBM is set to .5... set it at .5 for the body parts that PBM uses... BreastSize uses the chest and both collars... so set the morph in those body parts. It will take some time.. then create your FBM:)
Thread: Why when i create a Fullbody morph, dial only changes face? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
From my experience, and I'm not 100% sure that this is the problem...I don't remember this being a problem in versions before 7 either, but in Poser 7 when you set body morphs like for the breasts, waist, hips etc using the BODY PBMs or FBMs no actual morph data is set that Poser will use to create the FBM. Those dials are working on multiple body parts and Poser seems to use the value of the corresponding parameter dial in the body parts, not values in the "BODY"..... ie you set BreastSize6 is "1" in the BODY, so Poser ignores it when creating the FBM or PBM.
If the parmeters were set on the actual body part then morph data would be saved. The morph data for the head is saved since the parameters on the head were changed. I ran into this with a V3 character I developed to use in some of my animations. I wanted to lighten up the cr2 so I thought I'd just spawn a FBM and be able to strip out all the morphs I didn't need.... well to my surprise I ended up with a great head morph and no body morph just like you did. I ended up having to go through each body part and set the parameters then spawn the FBM again to get it to work.

Thread: What Was Your Very First Poser Purchase? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well let's see... my first content purchase for Poser had to be Nerd's Dreamspinner Line for Posette sometime in Oct or Nov of 2000. My first Poser purchase was Poser 2 followed by Poser 3. This was back in the days before there were any Poser stores.... conforming clothes.... transmapped hair or transparency of any kind...
Oh for the good ole days of helmet hair:)
