Thank you for your responses.
Dynamic hair seems pretty nice.
We can turn off the cast shadow, and use poser 4 renderer when we do rough test rendering. If we turn off the cast shadow, the rendering is much faster. Without shadow the hair is shiny, so we need shadow for the final product.
It seems to me the material is important, and also lighting has an important role. And the rendering setting.
I used Muted Brown of RDNA hair material. I think you can still get it from RDNA for free. I can also give the material parameters. It is easier to make a screen shot of the material room since I cant describe the color accurately. Does anyone know where I can get a good free screen shot program?
I think we can improve the hair by playing the parameters. I still dont know well about the material room. It is nice if someone who knows the material room will develop good hair materials for Dynamic hair.
The material room seems very nice, but I need a good tutorial or a booklet for the Poser5 material room.
If we can create soft animal furs with Poser5, it is great. Poser hair cant be this good, but ---------.
Please see the following link?
1st, and 2nd pictures show nice animal fur. 3rd picture shows nice human hair.

Only 4 seconds. Something wrong with my Poser5. It is also slow to open Poser5 even without Figure, compared to LightWave or Cinema4D which is very fast to open.
I was playing with Poser 5 Dynamic Hair. I will post some results in a new thread.

I have been playing with the dynamic hair of Poser5.
It is very slow to load the hair from hair library.
Probably it takes about 10 minutes.
Is it normal? My computer is WindowXP with 2G speed.

Thank you very much for useful information.
I should learn Dynamic hair.
Actually, Poser 5 has many nice features.
If some problems are fixed, It may be one of best cost-performance programs.

Thank you for the tutorial link, and your nice picture.
Thank you for the tips. I should seriously consider dynamic hair. When I used it before without adjusting material, it seemd somewhat like wires. I think it could be improved by using a proper material.
Do you have any tip for a good material.
I love Quarkers hair too. Most of my recent works use Quarkers hair.
I love Antons products. My hard disk is full of his products.

Randym77,
It is great. It seems very interesting idea to use mixed hair. Maybe you can give a short tutorial.
Sasquatch hair and fur for LightWave seem very nice.
I was wondering if Poser 5 hair could give a similar result, if we adjusted the parameters very well.

I am just wondering why people dont use Poser5 hair (dynamic hair). They are free if you have P5.
Recently, I am using Dynamic Clothes, and love them.

I use Bryce, and Vue.
Vue is very nice that it can read Poser file. In addition, the rendering is fast.
I use Vue with Poser figure.
However, I dont think that Vue rendering is better than Bryce.
In my opinion, Bryce is better for some pictures. May be it depends on our art style.
What do you think?

I am interested in the tutorial.
Will it work with Mover too?
Dynamic cloth is great for animation.
