That's wierd...there should be jpegs in there now, rather than BMPs, and they should open for anyone. I really don't understand at all why this is happening. :( Has ANYBODY successfully downloaded the PC version?

Dang, not that I know of....thanks for tellng me, I'll check them out to make sure I didn't save them in the wrong file format, and if that doesn;t help, I'll redo them as TIFFs or JPGs and see if that works

Ummm, well, I'm starting Ray Dream on the Mac, and it looks good. This week's MacAddict magazine also has a free modeller on their disc--Vidi Lite. I haven't installed it, so I don't know how it is. That's the January 2001 issue, you can probably get it in any good US computer or magazine store. Best Buy or Mediaplay should have it, maybe Waldenbooks, too. If you can dig up a MacAddict disc from October 99, they had Stratavision and Pixels on there, but I don't know if the makers are still providing the free code key you need to make them work. Pixels seems very good for organic-type modelling. Or, you can download the new Strata 3D free from their website: downside is that it's complicated and doesn't come with a manual at all. :/ I think it's at www.strata.com

I belong to a Star Wars club where there are frequent competitions or postings of art. The Stormtrooper figures are especially useful, since we are an Imperial club! Though the ship models at SWMA get far more use, actually. But most of the models I download, I just play around with.

I was thinking of doing some barbed wire, chicken wire and concertina wire....if nobody knows of any anywhere else, I might go ahead...how detailed do you need that?
