Yes, you can create the character morph and then save it to your library. Open a newly posed character, and apply the morph. Depending on the morph you might need to adjust the pose after the fact. This should work in all versions of poser.

It does become one of those hair styles you only use for a specific type of scene... :) The Sav one is nice but doesn't go all the way up if I recall. It could also be hair in water like a pool too :)

It depends on how much time you want to spend versus a couple of quick methods that cost money though there is always painting hair with a 3rd party paint program. As far as my earlier suggestion, these hairs are similar to the look you are trying for... So what you could do is start off with a hair that's in one position, then render the next shot with the hair pointed up (as if she saw a ghost or something). Btw, the Prae hair (didn't know what figure this was so I included links for G3 and V4) is on a 24 hour sale.

Totally worth buying. Remember you can have steam on multiple computers so as long as you run Silo on only one at a time it's ok!

Don't use the dynamic hair room - that generates its own segmented line mesh. Use the dynamic cloth room. "Clothify" the hair, and edit constrained group.
I didn't know that... thank you seachnasaigh!

Even re-rigging the hair might not work. Usually what I do is use two hair pieces that are sort of similar, one with the start position, then for the other pose, one with the other position.
The hair is not rigged. It's a prop that already has some movement/wind morphs but not enough for my needs.
Ah, I was thinking it might have been a conforming hair piece that could be re-rigged and that could simply be parented. :)

I look forward to supporting figures and generally try to support them if I can scrape up the spare funds. As I've said before even of Daz products, I'd gladly pay for them if there was a poser version that didn't rely on DSON, and in some cases have taken it to myself to purchase and convert them for my own personal use in artwork.
,zBrush comes with a few ,LW n C4D has some also.is make human open source ? it's easy to model characters some app's easier then others. anyway it's way way easier to rig n all your characters in app's like Blender ,LW, C4D then Poser or DAZ. So I can make a character in few days in a app that I have killer dynamics partials ect ect n a real time render engine. So if we have these skills why would we work on a open source DAZ Poser character that we don't need ? to wait 3 days on a render or have some dude that won't take the time to learn the skills to cry we didn't make her muscles lines the way the dude wanted ? no body's going to work for free just to get abused.
Very good points. People sometimes like to complain. Blender has seen some big strides in it's development. There are always the groups that would prefer having pre-made characters to making them (some of it is skill level, some of it is people wanting to work faster). Make Human is open source though I'd expect a possible open source character that might be better from the Unity Game engine users. There is no pleasing everyone as you said. I remember when Unity first came out and many figures were muscle bound body builders in everything. I know Daz has adapted some of it's product for Unity (not crazy at all about their Unity store design) but none of it is open source. As far as making a physically accurate figure with muscle morphs, it takes time and investments by the creators. I don't fault them for wanting some recompense for their efforts. I think an open source figure funded maybe by some sort of donation drive (similar to Patreon or kickstarter) with a team of developers (ala Blender as an example) might work.

I don't know if an open source figure will work. The problem with open source is the license (depending on which is used) could be an issue. I did suggest Smith Micro release a complete and fully open source figure in a few threads here and elsewhere but there's no guarantee that such a figure would catch on or be supported.

Also there are some open source figures already that have had almost no development in the poser community and it's been going on for a very, very long time.

Thread: Perfect ground, pavement texturing. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Flat ground textures can be wonky when viewed from a particular angle. I'd check the readme on the ground texture set for the best render settings. It's possible during the animation you might need to change the ground setting the closer the camera is to the ground (or fiddle with the camera setting). You could morph the ground a bit to give it some depression and rises. Tony Vilters has a great tutorial about how to create the ground morphs.

As an owner of this item, II can say this out of touch V4 set and figure was very nice. Outoftouch has a couple of older items like this...

Also Tempesta3d's new morph for the newly updated Pauline 2 is excellent looking (own it, recommended) but it doesn't come with clothes or hair.

Thread: Why the Silence??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Poser's had about 3 updates within the space of less than a year. Different forums have different amounts of posts. Sure it would be nice if they had staff talking about future updates and features but nobody except for a very, very few video games (Blizzard Overwatch) put out public news on a regular cycle. That would take time from employees working on new features.

Or the flip side is check if your graphic card software updated. Also check the General Preferences in Poser. Are you trying to re-render a specific scene? It's possible that scene got corrupted when you saved it to your hard drive. Have you tried rendering different scenes?
