Thread: Makeup kits for V4 - How to use? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Once you have created the new face texture with the makeup you want applied, merged and saved as a new jpg, this may be applied to V4 through the material room in Poser.
Thread: OT: We're burning in CA | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm originally from Southern California, but now live in North Carolina. We currently have a fire burning here in the eastern part of the state. The winds shifted a couple of weeks back and brought all the smoke and soot particles with it all the way into Raleigh and the surrounding area. Boy, I felt right at home. Ugh. I really hope something happens to help alleviate all this burning in both parts of the US.
Thread: P7 freezing issue | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Smith Micro needs a kick in the tush for that one! Nice customer service there. rolls eyes
I, too, encountered this issue. I closed out of Poser, cleared out my preferences and rebooted. That seemed to do the trick for me, at least for now. If this does become a reoccurring issue, Smith Micro is going to need to look into it, you would think. I see this is happening to more and more people.
Perhaps this latest bug is a trick to get us to all upgrade to Poser Pro. smirk
Thread: Odd Poser 7 problem | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It may be time for you to reinstall the whole thing. I hate it when that happens. I thought I was going to have to do that myself, but the other stuff did the trick for me....at least for now. I have no doubt this is one of those issues that will pop up again at some point.

Thread: Odd Poser 7 problem | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I recently had the same issue actually. I cleaned out my Poser preferences and rebooted. I haven't had the same problem since. (I, too, am running XP with 2 gigs of ram.) Anytime Poser starts to behave strangely, I clean up the preferences and that ususally solves the issue.
Instructions for clearing out Poser preferences can be found at the following link:
Thread: Clothing Poser figures | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
There is also this fairly new little program that I have found works like a charm (for conforming clothing):

Thread: Poser 7 Conforming Issue | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thank you for the suggestion, drapak12! If it happens again, I'll look into that as well. I did everything short of reinstalling and was not looking forward to having to do that unless absolutely necessary. I finally just closed it out and let it go for awhile. I started it up again today and the problem has disappeared. The glitch has righted itself. Strange.

Thread: hair prop moves off head during pose | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I use a slightly different workflow to keep this from happening. I simply pose my figure first and THEN add the hair prop. Works like a charm.
Thread: Alice 2.0 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
shedofjoy, you can use a regular V4 head on Alice now, you will have another fantastic set of textures and another nice body morph. I, too, am not a big fan of her head/face, so I simply do not use that part of her.
Thread: OT- Anyone use a Seagate freeAgent pro external HD? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have been using a 400 gb Seagate external for over a year and it has been great so far. I have yet to hear or read anything negative about them as well.
Thread: How to save a morph | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
"I had this info before, but now have the same question. If the dials are spun to create a character out of existing morphs, how can that be saved so I can apply it to the base character in the future?"
I am attempting to find a post at Daz that explained this exactly. I've done it myself, but know I would fail miserably in trying to explain. In a nutshell, once you have the morph dialed, you add it to a Pose folder using the "+" (Add to Library). There is an option (Select subset) to click exactly what you want to be saved for the morph. I have saved full inj's (for a full character) and head inj's (for only the head) using this method and I've had no problem in applying them later.
As far as spawning the remove files, etc., this I have yet to attempt, even though I have svdl's script.

Check out the python script mentioned in the following thread:

I hope this helps!
