I'm going to need basically everything for Rex and Roxie, seeing as they're both brand new and all.
Keeping it just to Rex, he needs some socks...

Quote - Here is the pic I was trying to emulate.
I know that most comic poses are nearly impossible in real life, but this one looks really cool. I want her to be able to do sticking-to-wall poses and such.
One of the many things I've learned since using Poser. It's one of things you notice a lot more when you're dealing with models (real people and 3D figures).

She wasn't quite ready for her closeup when we needed to execute the box art.
Quote - Which translates as "She had a face like a bag of smashed crabs". ;)
Both these quotes are going into the animated "Story of Poser" biopic that I'm planning to make, using Poser, if I ever retire ;)
I expect Poser Pro 2044 will make that project a breeze too.
Also, I like that Anastasia got the lead spot on the cover... she deserves it too...
The line definitely has inside joke material. I could totally see that being used as an Easter Egg dialog between characters.
Character 1: She wasn't quite ready for her closeup.
Character 2: What's that supposed to mean?
Character 3: It means she had a face like a bag of smashed crabs.

Just out of curiosity, why didn't you guys use Roxie? She's cute, and I'm sure it would drum up a lot more interest in her...
I agree. Roxie does have potential to be a well-used model if given enough support. They could have used Rex too, for that matter.

Original James and Jessi weren't bad, they just need some tweaking to put them on par with newer characters.

This is about the most I've been able to do in the physics room. Doing that for clothing has some potential, but I'm a long way from getting that right.

Cool renders! It gives me some ideas as to how to go about it (though it would probably be far from perfect, especially when heading into advanced details and characteristics). Hopefully P10/PP2014 can do a few things in this field as well.

With the whole physics simulation thingy... Does this cut down on animation time significantly? I know there would still be a timing thing to get down, especially on complex animations, but I'd hope it makes things a little quicker and easier.

The Implicit Skinning would solve oh-so-many problems when it comes to posing. I wouldn't have to worry about watering down poses or covering things up with camera placements or even trying to correct things in photoshop.
As for the hair, it looks impressive, but I'd need to see more of what it can do before really getting excited. Hair and clothing are (AFAIK) two of the hardest modeling things to get right.

I am curious as to how the fitting room will behave with layered clothing, like socks and jackets. That said, I'm looking forward to seeing just how many miles I'll get out of that. It might give new life to some of the lesser-used figures that have little content for them.
