99 posts already!!! This forum is alive after all... Gonna make it 100; I remember opening Poser for the first time. After some frustrating hours spent in Lightwave, I remember myself saying; what the f*ck; why should I learn to model organic models (people)?, Poser has men, women, boys, girls and props ready-made for me to pose as I wish... The high I was on lasted only briefly, since I soon discovered that the meshes where very dense and they slowed down my LW-Layout (since I wave on a cheap old laptop), and adjusting the shapes prooved nearly impossible. I can live with the fact that many people create nice pics with poser, computers gave us that power, so why not use it? But for me; creating a human figure with the least amount of polys gives way more satisfaction and allows me to make "easy" adjustments wherever I like... Poser (Daz to a certain extend also) can be of great help to people who wanna get "easy" results in a "short" amount of time; give full attention to lighting and posing but not worry about modeling and texturing too much, but some of us want more "creative" input. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying people who use Poser are not creative, they create, thereby they are creative, but I guess it all comes down to how much control you want on the stuff you create.

Thread: swatches based on an image | Forum: Photoshop
Open an image that contains the colors you want to work with and go to Image/Mode/Indexed Color. Leave color amount to 256 or adjust if you want more or less. Press OK. Go to Image menu/Mode/Color Table/Custom Save the color table which appears with a descriptive name as an .aco file in Photoshop/Presets/Color Swatches You will now be able to load your new swatches in the Swatches palette
Thread: Looking for Help. | Forum: Photoshop
PSD files are generally a layered file that is proprietary to Adobe PhotoShop. However, this file format has become so popular over recent years, that many other graphic software programs (newer versions) have programmed their software to be compatible with this file format, like Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7+ and Ulead PhotoImpact 7+. Got this from a yahoo search on 'what is psd'. Using them in CS2 would be nothing more than opening them and start working on them... Hope I got this right. Your question is kinda vague, so forgive me if I'm waaaaaaay of topic here... Grtz
Thread: Earth-X Hulk Re-Make | Forum: 3D Modeling
Amazing job on the muscles!!! Can't wait to see where this ends up... Your Hulk-dude inspired me to start working on a gorilla-like character. I'm posting wips on the LW forum becouse posting it here would be way too embarresing since It doesn't even come close to the quality of your model. Someday it might though, or at least I hope... ps; say hi to Petes for me at Siggraph...

Looks great dude! Glad you put in a side view, I loooooooove the way the mouth and chin stick out. That underbite (not sure this is english or dunglish), I mean the lower lip sticking out like that, gives it a great expression! The day my modeling skills come close to yours, I will be a very happy man... Gtrz

I vote for Guy Forks by Gog_CA1, my only hope is I'm not gonna be the only one posting here. That would kinda ruin the thrill, if you know what I mean...

@Infinity10; I think Boni is just saying you can use a Poser/Vue/Bryce render as background pic (instead of a photograph) to draw on in Photoshop... @Boni; thanks for posting this tut, I would love to see a tutorial on hand drawn hair too, so if you find the time; give us more please!!!
