Yeah, unfortunately I actually do need it for animations. Since it's a straight jacket, I don't even need the actual jacket to animate (I'll just move Michael's upper body) so any model that simply fits Michael 3 would be great.

Ah yes, the infamous Pyramid Head! I think it looks great even in these early stages, but I can see where it needs work on the helmet. If only I were a good modeller, I'd offer you suggestions, but unfortunately the best I can do is comment :-) Good job.

Hey no problem, I'm in no rush. And off topic, I just have to say this because as a big movie fan, I've been so sick of a lot of the recent Hollywood crap that has been disappointing me... but I just got home from Sin City, and wow... nothing can describe how friggin' amazing this movie was! Sorry I had to get that off my chest! I do the same when I come home disappointed from movies, only the words are worded a little differently for... obvious reasons.

Ghelmer, it looks fantastic. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on it and texturing it! Ziggie, actually that hospital room looks great. Yes it is too clean, but that's what texturing is for :-) Are you planning on releasing that for Poser 4 anytime?

Cool, I love the lighting on that... it's creeping me out already. If possible, the hallway could be a little more narrow to give a better sense of claustrophobia, but otherwise it's perfect so far.

Cool, I'll check those out. I've got some nice rusty metal textures from DAZ and Stonemason, but Silent Hill could never have too much rust :-)

Whoops, Mugsey must've posted while I was typing. Mugsey, I actually already have those props (I've found as many hospital Poser props online as possible). They're pretty decent, but I'm going for more of a realistic, gritty look like in that Silent Hill pic that Ghelm posted.

Hey man, that's an awesome start! I'm liking it already! I would like it pretty close to that pic, with the brownish tiled floors, and that green "stripe" on the base of the wall texture. As for the hallways, keep one version with windows on one side, and then another version can look the same but without the windows (the second version will be the standard hospital wing). But yeah, I'm getting very excited about this. Can't wait to see it later on! Thanks again

Hey, I dropped a reply in your inbox so check that out. As for textures, like I said, I'm using various textures from products I purchased from DAZ (Stonemason, etc.) among others, but if you have any other places where I can download or purchase high quality textures, don't hesitate to let me know! I'm willing to pay to make this hospital look as realistic and gritty as possible. Thanks!

Thanks for all the compliments so far, I'm suprised it's being received this well! Ghelmer, I just sent you an IM so look out for that. I'm looking forward to seeing your version of Silent Hill in motion!

"You posted a link to this on Gamefaqs, as I remember." Wow, it's a small world out there :-o Yeah, I did post there for the Silent Hill gamer fans to see, but now I want the Poser 3D community to check it out for a different perspective on it. Also, the hiding of the eyes sounds like a good idea... I'm imagining it in my head and it's sort of creeping me out.

Opera, that doesn't seem right. Please tell me your PC specs, and make sure you have Quicktime 6 or higher. The video was compressed with Sorenson, and the audio with MPEG-4, but as for Firefox, I have no clue. Does this happen when you click on the download link (the .mov file)? Also, you should right click and save-as...
Other than that, please tell me more. I don't think anyone else has been having problems, so it might just be you.
And ghelmer, you've gotta keep me updated on the project! It's awesome that you are also making a Silent Hill movie, especially one based off the best game in the series :-)
Did you model Brookhaven Hospital yet? I'm looking for tips or resources to help me get it down, and since Brookhaven is also featured in SH2, I'm assuming it'll probably be in your project somewhere.

Thanks for the replies. I think the problem had something to do with the angle of the camera since the transparencies worked when I moved the camera to a different spot, so it's something weird like that. Also, I'll have to try to the DOLLY cam. I can't believe I've been using MAIN and AUX this whole time!

"why can't you animate your camera just by scrubbing along the animation and moving the camera where it should be and making a keyframe" Well the way the camera rotates, it doesn't pivot, and because I'm a newb I don't know how to keep it "nailed" down while rotating. Also, my camera movements are trying to be slightly handheld, and I find it easier to create this effect when I have it parented to a head. "That will be a contribution of your exotic and potentially pioneering idea, so thanks." I wouldn't call a camera movement an exotic and potentially pioneering idea, but in the midst of a larger scale project, I take it as a compliment. Thanks.
