Oops! Never mind.
Somehow the "windows, library" parameter got unchecked. I clicked that and...POP... there was the "AIR" window.
Sincerely,
Bill

Oh, to clarify, I re-examined the .INI file to make sure the recommended parameter changes were still set to "1".
They are.

Bill

Okay, Tuesday evening and yesterday (Wednesday), everything worked with Adobe "Air" replacing the Flash function. This morning, however, when i started poser, Adobe "Air" is not running. Yes, I checked to see if it merely 'ducked behind" the active Poser window. Nope, "Air" was not even appearing upon the task bar.
Any thoughts?
Sincerely,
Bill

Just wanted to note that the mt edit to the .INI file did the trick!
True, it's an external application that will be "tucked behind" whenever one clicks upon the Poser workspace and I must click the new separate icon upon the taskbar to bring it "front" again, but one extra click is a small price to pay to have an accessible content library window again.

Bill

Thanks! I'll try this during my lunch break when I can switch the ethernet cable from my company laptop back to my personal machine.

I wondered if others had experienced this as i knew the "clock was ticking" for Flash.
Certainly looks like a dead simple fix, but I'm hesitant to "edit" the .INI (for fear of making things worse) unless I I feel I can easily restore the "current" version. Can one 'copy" and "save" the .INI with added characters like "Poser.INI-Old" which can later be dropped if the registry edit seriously trashes Poser?
Sincerely,
Bill

I meant the signals. Haven't the VHF and UHF bands been reassigned by the FCC to other functions, meaning if one does not want to deal with 'cable" or "satellite", one now needs a special "convertor" box connected to the VHF screws to get an "over the air" or "rabbit ear" signal?

I always wondered how those "satellite" units worked with the master player. I assume special cable linked them and the wiring was "snaked" through the wall, out of sight. meaning the dining tables could not be moved much if at all if the owners wanted the tabletop units to still work.

I was about to identify it, but then I remembered EClark wants the younger member to try guessing.
Again, my grandmother had one (which i believe just her husband used), but it wasn't really needed when I moved in with all my father's stuff which included a 1960s electric model (which i still use).

Bill

I see Red Phantom beat me about the "key" and the antenna as I was composing.

A nut chopper
A shoe "spoon" for guiding one's heel into footwear
A key to manually tighten "adjustable" roller skates that 'clamped" upon one's regular footwear
A rooftop TV aerial for VHF and UHF signals (no longer used)
a home "bonnet" hair dryer
In case anybody is wondering, I'm 58 years old.

A wall mounted soda bottle opener. I lived with my paternal grandmother after my father died in 1977. She was born in 1901, so she had several of the smaller items. what she didn't have (like the older open top washing machine, well, I saw items like that when we visited her relatives and friends. The "steam press" got me due to the small image and while I'd never seen one in person, the hair roller array was was fairly evident. The bottle opener had the "Coca-Cola" logo and we had the swing away crank driven can opener. Surprisingly, her radio was a relatively 'modern" (for the early 70s), a clock/radio combination. I'm sure she must have had a 'vintage" phonograph as she still had ceramic 78s, but I don't ever recalling it. Her daughter, my paternal aunt had the "console" style audio entertainment center.
Funny, when i saw the thread title, I immediately thought of the TARDIS console used during the William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton years of "Doctor Who". I thought for sure Sam Therapy would have made a comment along that vein. Silly me.

Uh, yeah. That's why I asked if ArrowHead had a DA account. If you're not a member or not logged in, it's not going to work.
