There is a hooded jacket for Aiko that’s dynamic and I’m sure could be used on a David character haven’t done it but you can run simulations and tweak clothing for different characters. It’s over in poserclub.jp in the poser download section/poseable clothing.

I owe you an apology, I’m using C4D with interposer to access poser content and some of Miki clothes work when you turn off rotation adjustments in a tag on the figure, I’ve open up poser and embarrassed to say that the same doesn’t holed true in poser. Really sorry about that and for wasting your time, hope you didn’t get too frustrated. Does beg the question why they don’t have an intermediary figure like the V4-V3 go between but I got her for nothing so can hardly complain.

I think I was just messing about and trying on the clothes on the various Miki’s 2s and it worked, I blank out sometimes reading the readmes ;)

The Miki one figure clothes fit on the Miki 2 alternative, a bit like V4 -V3 figures where you can use the old wardrobe on the new model.

Plus3d there is a nice head texture of dork on the Renderosity freebie section but it’s only the head, it’s a good head though.. There is Claudio by  Arduino at $14 but it is a brilliant texture to the older guy for a change.
Does anyone know if its’ possible to use the textures on the dragon site in a commercial image it doesn’t have an info on legal restrictions

I’ve been through the Daz forum and I gather you can delete them but will need to run  them if a later product doesn’t do something that I couldn’t understand, this update had been a headache and a half. Run them though then delete them, they are only short cuts to the .bat files which are in the !Daz folder in the poser library folder. That’s my understanding anyway

I usually find every problem takes the whole day no matter how small it seems at the start;) Glad you got it sorted.

I remember trying to make the cyborg was a headache and a half, it’s not exactly plug and lay, but Andygraph was very helpful and got back to me quite quick so I would suggest contacting him. It was really long ago that I made it so I’ve forgotten how I did it, but it can be done so give it time and do contact Andygraph he’s approachable.

All artists are like this, I forever want to burn my stuff, and start over. The lack of confidence doesn’t help, hopefully the positive response in the “real” world will bring home what that your stuff is quality.

V4 full is very resource heavy buts that’s because the modelling is so much more rounded and smooth, but over all I’m not gone on her as a character, I think v3 an Aiko still have it , I might change my mind but she is slow getting her posed, funnily enough v2 is the best for posing and rendering and I still think looks alright. That said V4 base is only 1.99 in the platinum club so you can hardly complain.

When you say no shadows do, how do you mean, is it that there are no shadows for instance cast from a person onto a prop? I work in C4D and you use a compositing tag to stop certain things form rendering but still casting shadows. That said you could always just invent your own shadows on characters by doing a selection of a copy of a person for instance and filling it with black, then doing a distort to drag it onto the ground, then reducing it’s opacity to make it more grey. That is a very rushed synopsis and there are a lot of mags out there and books that would help you along better than I could.

I there are no shadow on the character render form poser have you enabled shadows in the rendering settings. Over in the poser forum you’d probably get people more familiar with poser output.

Doing that but it looks a bit stiff at the moment; I likes the eagle movement as it really flew as it were. I just wanted something really believable and my animation at the moment isn’t

I looked at the eagle animation and it looks good from the QuickTime movie that they have of it but it is very much a big bird and I was looking for more the common or garden wing movements, the eagle is very stately looking. But thanks for the responseJ and it’s on with the search!!;)
