Why "NO POST WORK" on the still life... is this typical for all the challanges? Im a post work nut and I found it difficult NOT to touch up the render.

I tried to make a render with a lantern once. I had a hell of a time getting the "GLOW" lighting right and the comments I got were helpfull. One was to create an object (simple sphere) make it invisible with the transparnet settings in the MAT room and parent a bunch of lights to it radiating outwards. I havent tried it yet, but it sounds good.

Poser seem to be a HANDS ON program and the manual your reading is for technical info not artistic advice. The best way (my opinion) is to tinker with it until you come to an impass and have some good questions... then come here with those questions! I've been playing with this program for 4-5 months and have not even touched the surface! Patience...patience...patience!

Primal instincts! That is... those things which appeal to the "amimal" part of your brain. You dont "THINK" about what your going to look at next you just click with GUT feelings! This seems to be a phomomina which explains why exagerated women get a disporpotional number of looks rather than renders which have good composition and originality. Morbid curiocity for the VIOLENT lovers. Mystery for the downright curious. I try to fight this and dont look at thumbs I just click next image in the galery and see what comes up.
