Not being real up on the terminology, I was just guessing that the intersection of the two terrains (using one to carve out the other) was a boolean operation. That's why I wasn't sure if it qualifies for the challenge. s If not, no biggie. I had fun.

YES!! Kennect. Of course we would. And in lieu of a print forum, you can most certainly share here. s
Thread: Is this the way adminstrators will deal with this kind of issues? | Forum: Community Center
Virus, the admins are here to enforce the rules of Renderosity and the TOS. They are but a handful in a community that is very, very large. Just as in any real world community it is our responsibility to obey the rules and regulations set down by the admin and to let them know when we see an apparent violation of those rules. It doesn't help you, the admin or its members if you complain about a violation and do not properly report it. I see in your first post that you did IM an admin, but did not apparantly get a satisfactory answer. If one does not reply to your satisfaction, keep a good record of your complaint and contact another admin. Spike offered to look into your complaint, but you, in refusing to show him what is bothering you, does you no good. Be helpful, to him and to yourself. Let him know the admin you already spoke to and point him directly to the place where you feel a TOS violation has occurred. This goes for all members of Renderosity - be thorough in your reports to admin so they can do their job. They're good people who love this site as much as we do and they're here to work with us, the members, in keeping this a fun, viable and informative place to be. That's enough from me. I'm going back to my drawing tablet. Peace, Sihn
Thread: OTC - gathering interest on a print forum @r'osity | Forum: Bryce
More detail - This thread is in regards to the request for a Printer's Forum. A forum to gather info about and discuss printing digital artwork. A lot of us don't know where to start and those that have already done this could use their knowledge to help us.

I love my 21-inch monitor, but sometimes I would love to have something larger to work on. Who knows, someday, perhaps?? Well, I must say I'm pleased to see the interest in this thread so far. fingers crossed Maybe we'll get a forum???
Thread: hmann hair questions... thoughts? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I wanted the Gypsy hair, but that looked too daunting for me since I'd never bought hair or worked with it before. So, I bought the cleo hair. It takes time to work and tweek at it and all the morphing dials are daunting, but so far I have liked the results I've gotten. I'm also very happy that the hair works with both Victoria and Posette. I suggest, if you've never worked with any hair before, start just with one, then once you have the one mastered, extend your collection.

Is there a ZBrush forum anywhere else? Maybe if enough folks speak up one could be started?
Thread: Glass materials | Forum: Bryce
Have you tried re-installing Bryce 5? When I tried out the demo, I couldn't get any of the materials to work until I re-installed it.

Can you provide more details on what is needed? How is the image to be received by D-Zone? Via email or CD? Other than 200dpi, is there a size limit to the image? Such as 640x480? Is nudity allowed? What rights is D-Zone asking over the images published? And since we won't get paid, will we at least receive a free issue with our image that is published?

Thread: can we have a store freestuff area? Is one needed? | Forum: Community Center
I agree with Strangechilde - a section for Posette/Dork would be nice to have. I don't use Vicki as often as I use Posette and it is annoying to have downloaded something that looked like it was for Posette, only to open it and find out it's for Vicki. That brings up something else I'd like to see - when you upload something to the freebie area, there's a place to write a description about the freebie, but the description doesn't show up. It would be helpful if that DID show up and folks would use it to clearly say what you need to have BEFORE you download it.
