Thanks, but the Hercules works just fine and has better Rsolutions available...(I like working in 1280x1024) Have you solved your own problem yet?
Thread: Poser = Fu*ked? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Along NEUROcYBER'Strain of thought, I had a floppy-drive short bunout my old Creative Labs Grahics blaster and replaced it with an ATI Rage 128. Poser got REALLY hinky on me...it would render and display OK, but but when I would save a figure oor prop, there would be a blank space for the thumbnail (not even the "shruggy guy"!!!) I went absolutely crazy with de- & re-installs until I replaced my card with a Hercules (it was dirt cheap!) and viola, everything was fine! So I'd say it's your graphics card too...Get a cheap one (in the $75-100 Range)...and stay away from ATI!
Thread: Two questions... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi, again! Reading over my post I Just vaguely remembered seeing a trans-mapped eyebrow smart prop that used to be over on the "old" Renderotica page. I haven't encountered it here and maybe someone could tell me if I'm not just imagining it. Anyone have it? Thanks!

Thanks,, but unfortunately since I lost my day job, I'm pretty much living hand to mouth. When i'm once againt in a profitable situation, I'll be back to online purchasing (it's like going into Walmart...you just want to buy a pair of jeans, and next thing you know you're blowing $80-90 on stuff you just had to have!) I was just hoping some one could point me to another texture that I could use to fake it...I used to use a greyscale texture (of a kitchen sponge!) that I filtered and layered that came out pretty well when applied as a BUMP but the bargain-bin interior design CD that I yanked it from has gone missing. Now I can't rebuild it. Damn CD had the best butcher block wood texture I'd seen!
Thread: Unable to select export as morph targ. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I also had that problem, It seemed to happen when I Bought Dacort's Natalia, but It happened with ALL of my Props/Figures. Reformatting and reinstalling didn't work (and with my system that was a chore and a half!) so I Reformatted yet again and did a surface scan with scandisk. I found a couple of bad clusters, reinstalled everything and now it works. I don't know if their is a connection between the bad Hard Drive clusters and Poser but you never know! Starlok

Thread: clothes for EVE4 part II | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The problem I'm Having is that I'm using the MorphWorld stuff and having the Exploding clothes problem. It seems to happen only with clothes that have "hips"..i the halter works ok, but skirts, bikini bottoms go BOOM!
Thread: Posette2Eve Clothing Conversions | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well, I've tried those but it seems that whenever the hip on eve is rotated or bent (and yes, i am using 4.03)everything goes kablooey! Thanks, but it seems that I'll either need to find some clothing designed especially for EVE or get used to her being a nudist...hmmm...ummm...

Yup! That did it! It will be great to read more than 7 truncated lines when pointing lights, etc! I mean, I work in 1280x1024 for a reason! Now to get a 17" monitor :) Thanks bunches ENGLEKEN! Starlok

To Kevin & Storm, Many Thanks! Now all I have to do is get beyond the Error page when trying to down load Strata & Amapi and I'll let you know how it all comes out! StarlokJFC@Aol.com

Kevin, I Had tried to export DXF from TurboCAD, but Poser gave me a rude message stating that it needed faceting info in the DXF File and IMSI didn't generate it. The Turbocad manual stated that Faceting is only available in the "professional version" and my $99 investment in the retail version was totally wasted. If anyone could tell me of a similarly priced product, (What does Cinema 4D GO cost?) or of a way using Bryce that I'm missing, I'd be very grateful. Thanks! P.S. I also have half of my machine running LINUX(Mandrake) so if anyone knows of a similar product that exports DXF/3DS/OBJ's I could always use Linux for setup and Poser for rendering.
