Well, i have never particiated myself...but why not offer prizes !!! INCENTIVE. IMHO, this entire forum is falling apart...but i guess that is just a sign of the times(;

Rutra is correct. Shadow density also can effect grain, as can aerial perspective with Volumetric and so can god rays for that matter:D So basically just fiddle around with it. But generally turning up your AA and boosting quality helps, but i wouldnt go to far past 4 as it can take a real hit on memory.

What i did was set up my file system like this C: program files/e-on/poser/runtime that way all my .zip files and installers go there anyway. Poser for me has sucked for a ling time, and now that I know I can get DS to work 300% better without hang ups and error messages...Poser is a ghost...

Forgot to mention, I dont even have poser installed on my machine anymore,and it works like a charm(;

I may have mentioned it before, but the solution I have found to handling those awful Poser imports was switching to Daz Studio and export .obj and let it convert textures for Bryce...works like a peach in Vue. No out of memory issues and you can handle the mats on a per object basis or per group or whatever you desire upon export from DS. I seriously couldnt recomend DS 2 enough. It has improved my workflow and my quality of art a great deal.
