I think I'd get a fair amount of use out of it since I use Jessi, and TY2 already. I've tried the demo from the virtual fashion site, but since it's (however much) different from that which is being sold through CP I'm still undecided about it. :huh: I not terribly happy with the fact that it seems to be a Fullscreen DirectX-like application that can't be windowed, minimized, alt-tabbed, etc. Not great for one's workflow. Anyone know differently ? I don't have Miki, but that may change since I might decide to spend my CP rewards coupon on her which would be kind of like getting her for free.

IMHO, I found the animations to be fairly fluid and not robotic unlike some of the other commercial packages I've seen. I don't really care if the dances are recognizable since it's definitely original. :biggrin: However, I would never pay the asking price of $31 dollars (I'd probably pay closer to $20) especially since paypal is being used. If you can't do that, perhaps breaking them up and selling them separately would work (but that also decreases the individual product's inherent value IMHO). Using Paypal (who I hate to deal with on issues) and buying through your personal store means I will probably not have the security of knowing that if I lose the download somehow, I can just re-download it (for no charge) without having to contact the vendor (and wait for a response) assuming that they're still in business then. I'll wait until it appears here hopefully at a lesser price. If it never does, oh well. :rolleyes:

I think it's funny that the e-frontier quote references "Poser 5" saying it is an "engineering challenge" to do in future versions (P6). Hopefully not too much. :lol: For now, I just import whatever P6 scene I can manage to into Carrara and render there since it's faster on single core machines as well as having support for multi-core CPU already. This isn't a 100% solution, and for the scenes that won't import well / properly...I'll just have to hope that v7 contains this support. Maybe some network rendering too ? :unsure:

I'm sorry, I stopped subscribing to this thread. You can, however...pick the server you want to use. I've many happy people tell me how happy they were that they were able to download in minutes rather hours all because they switched servers. I did it and I've shown many other's how to do the same just for the asking. Although, it is true there is no substitute for a company having proper server capacity especially when they have the knowledge that they're going to kick off a large event which will likely set off a download stampede. :rolleyes: If anyone is still having downloading issues (last day of the sale), contact me via PM on DAZ's site. I don't monitor these forums much or my message box (by choice) here so that will usually add delay to any response I might provide.

Yes, it is indeed simple (which is a good thing). Hopefully, I'm not the only that realized how to do this.
