Thread: Dynamic Clothes WIPs for La Femme 2 | Forum: La Femme 2
It's probably just the skirt still being a bit on the short side. I'll make it go all the way to her knees when she stands and see how that works out for sitting.

Something like this maybe?
(I was literally like "pencil skirts - how do they even work" and had to google patterns. The answer, as always, is darts.)

By the way, would anyone be super-keen on an office-compatible version of this combo? I've never been an office lady, so I can only guess at what's appropriate, but I'm thinking skirt knee-long, sleeves down to the elbows, shirt tugged in might work? Simulating a skirt over a tugged-in shirt is pretty much a no-go, so I'd just merge them into one item then.
At least seven material options, naturally.

Hi, I'm back from trying out Dawn 2 and have entered that stage where I'm fiddling with material options for the cropped shirt.

I'm calling this one "ghostship2's awesome free eye materials for Dawn2 are up here."

There's a control parameter for turning all JCMs on or off. Zero figure sets that to off.odf posted at 6:45 PM Sat, 14 September 2024 - #4489339
Hm. Well considering that a JCM, functioning as it should, is only "on" (value beyond zero up to 1 typically) as the result of a rotation beyond 0 degrees (a morph dependency attached to a joint rotation) naturally the JCMs will be at a zero state when the figure is zero in all rotations. If you mean that zeroing the figure causes a joint dependant morph subtract value operation to kick on and stay in an on state from there forward... well major bug there.Quick heads-up: I found that when I use "zero figure" on Dawn 2, it turns off the JCMs. Her joints don't all look great even with JCMs, but that's what dynamic clothes are for. Anyway, I think she's looking quite good overall and has a lot of neat features built in from the get-go.
Am I misunderstanding? I haven't really looked at the figure yet.

Don't mind me while I experiment with outfits for the new girl, mostly raided from LF2's closet.
Now back to your regularly scheduled shader-talk...

I did that thing where I dial up a character I like from her face and body shapes package...
(Felt cute, might save as FBM later.)
I also patched up her face texture to get rid of all the super-bright blotches. YMMV
Oh, and the dress is borrowed from Antonia.

My second attempt. She's looking much less like a mime now.

Hopefully someone will make a pose and morph combo for her to match LF2's default pose and shape. That would make swapping clothes much easier. One thing I noticed is that she is much skinnier and less voluptuous than LF2 in her default shape, so I had to scale the top and skirt down to 95% or they would been way too loose.Looking forward to try some some of ODF's clothes for her now that I've seen it done.

Here's a quick snapshot of her borrowing LF2's hair and clothes. And why not, they're sisters after all. I hear "sharing is caring" is the Two family's official motto.
