I then tried using the same blurred image map for the colored image on all settings. It creates a subtle graduation of color between sand and gravel. Keep in mind as you can see in the 2nd image that the rocks are now encroaching on the path. Either I'll increase the filter settings in distribution or I can creat a seperate image map with greater dispersion of gray. richcz3

DigReal I borrowed your concept of a walking trail to see if I could come up with a useable solution Interesting enough instead of using an absolute black and white image to effect Distribution I used an 8 pixel Gausian blur on the walk path. (Original image map is 1024x1024).

With the proper filter adjustment for the gradient in the image, the rocks come close but do not cross onto the walkway.

hstewarth Is that tree showing up in a dark gray or black region of your image map? If it is a light gray part you may want to consider making the colr value on that strip darker. richcz3

I'll agree with ShadowWind on this. It's unfortunate news someone fell ill and hope he gets better but really now. Is it a "one man does all" operation up there in Oregon? If not, what does it say about the remaining staff that works at that location? A little cross training goes a long way for a small organization.

My order is on its way and should be here tomorrow. richcz3
