**Bubbles: Python to emit props from 'wand' by ockham
**This works very well and I have used it many times. And it's free.
Free is good.
I think I found it.

I'll check it out.
Thanks.
Okay, the one I tried seems to make one bubble (tear drop) at a time. It looked nice, but I need a lot of bubbles.
Is that what you were doing, or is there something I've missed?
(The download said there were 2 versions, but I think I only found 1 set of props/figures in my runtime.)

Thread: Pointy teeth for G2 women? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I ended up using the Millennium Teeth from DAZ, which has a nice pointy option. I used the Stephanie Set (there are a few sets of teeth, all from DAZ1 folk, I think), which seemed a good match for Olivia/Ahava. Didn't even have to resize them, as it turned out.
A bit tricky placing them in the head, but I had a pose with a slightly open mouth to start. Then put the teeth in the scene at about the right spot (over Umira's head) using the side view camera. Then I simply moved them down until I could see them through the open lips, using both the side and front views of the head to adjust them up and down & forward and back, until I got them when I liked them
Then I parented the teeth to the head.
Then I went to the Materials Room and made the material on the original teeth 100% transparent. Maybe there was a better way to "pull" the original teeth, but that's what I came up with.
The new teeth have their own open & close morph. So when I open the character's mouth, I have to then go to the teeth figure and open them, too, an appropriate amount. Again, maybe there's some easier way to do that, but I don't know it.
All in all, it seems to work pretty well, and it achieves the effect I wanted. (Tip for Writers: One should always be careful when describing a character that one will one day have to illustrate.) We'll see how it turns out in the final render(s).
Thank you, one and all, for all your great suggestions!
I will put up some pictures of the final results when I'm on the rendering computer later (it's busy rendering now).

Quote - I made a set of bubble brushes for Photoshop once. Since it has dropped off the marketplace ages ago, you can have it if you want. And providing I can find the original zip somewhere L
Just in case you decide to go the Postwork way :)
Thanks for the offer!
Going to try out a few things I picked up and see how they work, then make further decisions.
At the moment, though, have to stop doing art and get back to writing the story/stories that go with it.

Quote - There's also this freebie bubbles prop at Fast3D, near the bottom of the downloads page.
Thanks.
It's probably too small and too regular, but I've picked it up and will try it out.
Again, thanks.

Quote - There is a bubble generator over at RDNA.
Thanks. That's one of my finalists, unless I just do it in post.

Quote - Sorry, I thought bubble storm required the base Petal Storm. Seems it doesn't.
Not a personal friend, but someone I know from here and have a high regard for his credibility. I'll send a PM to EvilInnocence directing him to this thread so he can see your comments about making the site more efficient.
Hey, as a freelance writer (and sometimes artist) I completely understand how tricky it is to keep one's site up to date and useful. The system to order my books and stories needs a complete overhaul (with a new shopping cart ability); thankfully, my work is also available on "more reliable" sites like Amazon.
And, for what it's worth, your friend's Bubble generator is currently my top prospect - unless I just do the work in post. Now if only it did splashes as well! (I'm thinking about some above-the-waves renders now, too.)

Quote - Bubbles are one of the things I prefer to do in postwork. There's heaps of brush sets available. These are the ones I use most often. Highly recommended.
Hey, thanks. I'll check that out.
Maybe my desire to do this without "post" is irrational.

Hmm, doesn't look like Bubble Storm requires the other to make it work. (Though it's late and my eyes are going.)

If the artist is a friend of yours, you should mention to him/her that sales are being lost if their personal site isn't fully functional. Missing images, etc, don't inspire confidence in buyers. (At least, not in this buyer.)
Thanks for the info!

Emails must have crossed.
That looks interesting, though it's hard to tell since the thumbs are small and the larger pix aren't coming through on my machine. (Chrome? Or a problem with the site?)

Thread: Pointy teeth for G2 women? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Millennium Teeth might work. They are "false teeth" with plenty of morphs. You would have to fit them to your model, though.www.daz3d.com/i/3d-models/-/millennium-teeth
That should just be a matter of size & placement, though, right?
And figuring out how to turn off the native teeth. (G2 seems to have less morphs & options than DAZ figures.)
Seems like a good suggestion, if I can make it work.
Thanks!
(Other suggestions still welcome.)

Quote - Well you can always use a lot of little poser balls and apply a glass-like shader to them :)
Someone on another forum suggested that, but I'm not sure my 5-year-old computer would like that -- or, at least, I might not like the render time. I'd need dozens of bubbles -- maybe hundreds.
:-)
Apparently, though, there are some bubbled on Renderosity scuba gear that didn't come up when I searched for bubbles...
I'm still open to other suggestions, though.

I'm using the Ahava modification for the Olivia figure.
I'm attaching an earlier version of the current render with this character, which doesn't show much tooth. The next render may show her mouth, and the character -- from the Tournament of Death -- is supposed to have shark teeth.

Thread: Real Skin Shader - Strange Render Problem | Forum: Poser Technical
Yeah, I can reload the skin/material, if that'll allow me to start again on the shader.
It's not a huge problem, as the figure won't be seen nude - unless I post it somewhere like here -- but once I find a "problem," I like to figure out what went wrong and how to solve it.
Again, thanks for your support and advice.
