LoL , She said " Chiggers " Thats a fun critter to get on you. The more you scratch the more you itch , The more you itch the more you scratch , pretty soon there all over your body and you are one big ITCHY rash . Mean little buggers . By the way be carefull removeing ticks , useally the head ( top part ) will POP off and it stays alive for a while burrowing away at you. Useally they drop down on you from the trees. Sneakly little buggers. I had to have one drilled out of my head as a child . Mom made me wear a hat after that.

L8RDAZE thanks for the info , what a great bug this is and the good news is I can stop freaking out when they dive by me. I always thought they had stingers. I should have guessed the hummingbird part , you can hear them coming from pretty far away. I guess thats what i get for wearing loud color shirts with flowers all over them. I must look like a walking Deli to them.

What are you useing to make your thumbs with ?? I use ACDSee and it makes pretty good 5 to 10 kb thumbs. I tried useing Adobe Photoshop but i had the same problums you did so i switched. Another thing to try is, start with a smaller image . If you try to thumb say a 2000 X 2000 image your thumbs going to be pretty bad. Reduce it to say 800X600 then thumb that one.

I love your Jelly fish images Tom. I have always loved jelly fish as long as I am not in the same water as them ( been stung a few dozen times ). They are like poetry in motion. I have seen some local Sushi places that have some killer saltwater tanks with only jelly fish in them that is almost worth the high cost of eating there.
Here is a image of Salmon frys that get released into the sound when bigger.
I live close to Sea World so I guess its time to go get some more images again some time soon.
