as for 5.09 that is a beta build and stuff will always happen when using a beta, unless being lucky :) Anyway, as bruno021 said, always report all your issues regardless of it being a beta build or official non beta, it always helps the developer and thus in the longrun yourself :)
Thread: I'm thinking about buying Vue 5 Infinite | Forum: Vue
well if youre a 3dsmax owner youll enjoy v5I since max is one of the apps vue "prefers". Theres also a new max plugin called vue xStream comming out that will let you work with vue5Infinite inside of max using both apps perfectly merged together. As for v5I bruno sumarized it pretty nicely, except that vue is almost 1.5 years old by now (v5e anyway but esprit is built upon the core of v5I unless im misinformed) so you can probably expect v6 sometimes this year (could be wrong tho :P) anyway patches is being released with a regular intervall and new stuff is still being added to the application so vue5 is still getting better by the minute. Oh do i have to say that i realy enjoy working with vue :)

maxwell will kill your render times travoose, its seriously slow just so you know, great realistic looking renders but the slowest renderer of them all.
Thread: Vue for hobby or profit | Forum: Vue
i use vue in my daily job, however as with everything thats related to art, design, media and it, its also a passion of life so its of course a big hobby aswell.

have to agree with djeser, v5 easel is a far better option then vue3 for a beginner, however if you can afford it i would realy recomend v5esprit over easel, and esprit isnt that much more expensive atm either.
Thread: Good Graphic Cards ? | Forum: Vue
your gpu doesnt do much for performance other then in the viewport.
other then that i can say that my geforce 7800 gtx works like a charm in all the vue versions ive thrown at it, quite expensive tho but solid working.

Thread: My First Vue 5 Easel Render *** Treasure *** | Forum: Vue
its exactly like your other vue versions. just less control then vue5 esprit/infinite, but you still have solidgrowth, you still have atmospheres, objects, terrains and the same interface, just less control. You even have the text editor and preanimated meshes but you wont find procedural terrains or the environment mapping in the atmoshpere editor and you have less render options other then that its the same thing, great stuff in other words for people looking to start with 3d scenery or just looking for an affordable way into the vue world. Easel also ships with a bunch of scenes not available in vue5 esprit.

not sure what you guys are expecting as far as upgrades goes but in my humble opinion e.on do give you a big enough discount when upgrading and they dont forget about their old customers :) anyway, thats just my humble opinion
Thread: vue 5 easel | Forum: Vue
i do agree that esprit is far more capable then easel so if money isnt an issue (and 70us$ more isnt much) go for v5esprit. but if you realy dont have 70us$ extra, easel is a realy nice application, sorry to hear that you had problems hein, im playing around with easel myself and sure its limited compared to esprit and infinite but its a superlow price app and it does what it should do, and it does it realy good. its atleast for me working solidly (some super minor issues which im sure will be fixed in the next update), no instabilitiy issues and no render problems.
Thread: Vue5 Infinite Fusion | Forum: Vue
thing is, xfusion isnt targeting home users, its target group is professionals. 500us$ sounds like a pretty nice price range in my humble opinion, although im not sure about charging 500us$ per application/renderer, i would have opted for 500us$ for the first one and then a lower price for additional licenses.
Thread: Render Effects help please | Forum: Vue
the one downside with using it is that you wont end up with a proper final render, but sure you can always do a proper render aswell, but im glad its there even if i generaly speaking would rather use post processing (always exceptions of course), but in the end its a nice little feature.
